Ginger’s Cough

It just took a day, or less than that, of the anti-histamine and broncodilator, and Ginger’s cough stopped for about 24 hours, but he started coughing again this morning.
However, there is no sneezing, only a mild cough.
Hello everyone!
Ginger is FIV+ so I get quite nervous when he gets sick. Let’s hope he recovers fully soon. He is on Vetri DMG and I will start him back on the lysine.

Ginger Coughs Again

Everyone else has recovered….except Ginger.
Or rather, Ginger did recover, but after a few days, today he started sneezing (but only once this morning) and this afternoon, I heard him coughing again (also, just one bout).
Not wanting to take any risks, I quickly consulted our vet and she said I could go over and get him some anti-histamines and broncodilator tablets. There is no need for antibiotics since he does not have any nasal discharge.

Betsy’s Enucleation Done And She Is Okay!

As a follow-up to the previous news, Betsy’s enucleation was done yesterday and she is okay now!
The damaged eye could not be saved, so the vet advised to have it removed to prevent future infections, especially to the good eye. Weeks of efforts were made to try to salvage the eye, but they were not successful. The 4 “Sneezies” And 1 Cleo

It was Ginger who first started sneezing and coughing. Then, Indy and this was followed by Heidi and Bunny though it was quite mild of the two of them.
So far, Ginger has got much better. I later got a bronco-dilator medicine for his cough and that helped a lot. After two days on it, his cough stopped. Indy has got much better too but still has the occasional sneezing.
Bunny and Heidi seem to have stopped sneezing altogether now.
Madame is fine now.

The 3rd Force Gathers Numbers…

This is a follow-up to Tabs’ attempt to strengthen her “3rd force”.
She managed to persuade Cushion Kitty 1 to join her last week.
And last night…
Cushion Kitty 2 joined her as well!
So now, there are three of them.
And when our grandson visited yesterday, Tabs tried to recruit him as well, but he is too young to decide, so you’ll have a wait until he grows up a bit, Tabs.
Goodness and kindness will prevail and become a powerful force.
