Why Bunny Has To Eat Baby Food For Breakfast 1st Sep 2014, by AnimalCare
It’s been happening for more than a week now.
Bunny gobbles up all his food during breakfast and I think it’s due to eating too fast that he vomits it all out later and comes asking for food again.
This only happens in the morning at breakfast. It doesn’t happen for dinner in the evening or snacks in between.
I was at my wit’s end trying to solve the problem until a thought occurred to me.
I will feed him “baby food” in the morning. Maybe it’s easier to...

Vincent Went Missing…and Returns From The Roof! 1st Sep 2014, by AnimalCare
This morning, breakfast was a little later than usual, being a public holiday.
Vincent wasn’t at breakfast.
Usually, he is almost always waiting at the patio with Daffodil, Heidi and Zurik while Ginger and Rosie will already be in the kitchen as both of them can scale the window netting and climb right in. And even if Vincent is not already at the patio, he will always come running from the playground.
But this morning, there was no sign of Vincent at all.
I went to the gate to call him an...

Daffodil Stamps Her Mark 1st Sep 2014, by AnimalCare
As streetwise and “low-key” as she is, Daffodil is beginning to stamp her mark in and outside the house these days.
Following the episode of me trying to apply Path-Away onto her neck bruises resulting in me losing a built-up of trust gradually cultivated through months (maybe even more than 2 years), I think Daffodil tried to convey to me that she has forgiven me.
For two days already, she pulled the Carebears blanket to under the table and sat with me while I did my sewing.
IR...

Why Daffodil Is Upset 30th Aug 2014, by AnimalCare
If you’ve been reading our posts, you would remember that our part-time cleaner took away Daffodil’s “bomb shelter” about two weeks ago as she thought it was in pretty bad shape.
Luckily she hadn’t thrown it away at that time, so I managed to salvage the bomb shelter and put it back beside the shoe rack and Daffodil happily went back into it. She didn’t want a new box even though we gave her one.
It just isn’t the same, you know.
“Home” is w...
