This evening, there was bullying in the Clubhouse. I heard cat screaming and when I rushed out, I saw Pole hiding behind the little scratching bench and Cow intimidating her.
I went over to stop the escalating condition and carried Pole back to her condo.
Then, I went back to the room but before I knew it, Indy was doing his war-cries. I left him alone thinking he was scolding someone at the Stargate, which happens quite often. But the war-cries did not stop.

Bunny’s Blood Test Results

The long-awaited blood test results finally came this afternoon and it’s all clear for Bunny!
What a relief!
Bunny’s kidney and liver readings are all normal and from this, it is most probably not pancreatitis.

Spay-Neuter Subsidy For 1 Dog And 2 Market Cats (Then Lai Fatt’s)

We have subsidised RM200 for the spaying of a female cat and neutering of a male cat, both of whom are from the market and also fully sponsored RM150 for the spaying of a female dog rescued by Ah Fatt. Both cats have been returned to the marketplace. The female dog was found to have TVT after being spayed and is currently being fostered to undergo chemotherapy.

Today, Agnes brought over a bale of cloth contributed by Mrs Lee for the backing of our patchwork blankets. We’d like to thank Mrs Lee for her thoughtful contribution and Agnes, for doing the purchasing and transporting the heavy bale over to us.
It’s of a nice and versatile darker shade, which is very suitable as backing cloth.
Now we have three colours for backing. The blue is finishing and does not need replenishing as we can use the beige and brown for all blankets.

Bunny Goes To The Vet’s

This morning, Bunny vomited twice. He did not look too happy after breakfast; and he vomited after half an hour. Then, he asked for food again, and vomited again. It was only after one hour that he felt well enough to ask for more food. He managed to retain his third and fourth meals for the morning.

Bunny’s Secret Small Meals

I figured one way to give Bunny his small meals is to take him out and feed him in the kitchen. Hopefully, the rest won’t know and won’t ask for food too.
Poor Bunny vomited again after dinner this evening, so I have to give him small meals for the rest of the evening.

Ginger’s Visit

A few times a day, Ginger would sit right outside the grille asking to be let into Bunny’s room.
His wish is granted today…
I let Ginger walk into the room by himself today. Cleo charged at him but Ginger stood his ground by standing tall. I know for sure Cleo will not bite, so she’s okay.
From the bench, Ginger climbed onto the apartment and sat himself down comfortably on Level 1.

Gen-X And Gen-Y Cats

Daffodil is very partial towards Rosie. She is always grooming Rosie and we have never seen her reprimanding Rosie for anything.
But she paws Ginger on the head very often, probably reprimanding him for gallivanting to the roof.
And Ginger would allow himself to be reprimanded by his mum.
Ginger always lets his mum have his blankie.

Bunny’s Eating Problem

Bunny is still having his vomiting problem.
I’ve been trying all kinds of ways to prevent the vomiting. First, I thought it was the wet food, so I stopped giving him that and change to another brand. But after a few days of no vomiting, he began to vomit out the new wet food as well.
He would vomit out his main meals, and usually, it’s breakfast. Sometimes, dinner too. And this usually happens about one-and-a-half hours after eating. It’s undigested food.
