In July this year, Yuen Foon asked if my mum could sew pencil cases for her class of 20 students. Yuen Foon would surprise them on World Animal Day (and Children’s Day) in October. And as always, Yuen Foon would give a generous donation to our Fund.

While we are doing our best to get as many street animals neutered with the best of our intentions, let us not forget that the neutering procedure does carry some risks, as do all surgeries. In order to minimise the risks, it is advisable to ensure, as far as we can, that the animal is in relatively good health, has been eating well and is of appropriate weight, size and age to go through the procedure. Refreshed Cat Pillows And Playtime!

Soiled cat pillows can be washed, dried and refreshed with silvervine powder or leaves and they will be as good as new. If the cover is tainted, just sew a new cover over the old one.
That’s what I did this afternoon and we have new pillows to play with!
Actually Indy is crazy over silvervine pillows, but he’s pretending to be uninterested while the rest play.
Of course Ginger gets one too.
See? Even the great Indy Jones cannot resist the attraction of the cat pillow!
