What Mr Zurik Does

He puts on his best “muka kesian” and trots after me all around the park.
He wants people to think he’s my loyal cat.
Today, he followed me for two full rounds again, until I relented and invited him back for a second breakfast.
But he has to eat away from the PatioCats.

Breakfast At The Pantry

Breakfast at the pantry, as usual.
I need more food, please…
Whenever Bunny eats too much in the morning, he ends up vomiting everything out, so he’s on a strict diet every morning. This also means, he gets kibble snacks throughout the day, and when Bunny gets, everyone gets too. Oh well…
But of course, he cannot wait, so he tries to politely asks for food from the “easy cats”, namely, Tabs.
If I’m not around, Tabs would run. So, I have to monitor breakfast...

Breakfast At The Patio

Breakfast was very early this morning.
It was peaceful as Mr Zurik hadn’t come…yet.
But came, he did.
We feed him twice a day, but he cannot get along with the PatioCats, so we are looking for a home for him.

December Blankets

These were the blankets that we gave away in December to friends who have helped us silently and anonymously over the years. The moment we declared we were going to continue running the Fund, our friends were one of the first ones to start the donation ball rolling again. Eleven more were also given away, but these were returned to us for auction, so you shall be seeing them later when we put them out! We thank all our friends very much!

Cow Mau: Seeing The World With BOTH Eyes Again!

Today is the big day for Cow and for all of us, folks, and it’s good news!!
The vet started by snipping off the two stitches and then he put some local anaesthetic into the eye.
As Cow opened his eyes, the third eyelid fell back into place. Good, at least it’s not stuck. In some cases, it gets stuck and it needs to be snipped under mild sedation. First hurdle passed, though this doesn’t indicate anything at all about his ulcer.

Cow Mau’s Big Day

The three weeks ends today.
We will be taking Cow to the vet’s this afternoon to get his stitches removed and finally get to see if the ulcer has healed after three whole weeks of (hopefully!) being nourished by the blood vessels in the third eyelid.
In the four times we took him for a check-up, the outside looked good, but we don’t know what is going on inside the eye. Today, we shall find out.

Cow Mau, Just 2 1/2 More Days To Go!

Yesterday, Cow was able to open his stitched up eye a little bit more than usual, so I got worried.
This morning, we took him to the vet for a check-up. Being Saturday, it was really very crowded.
The vet checked and said everything looks good on the outside. It’s been 18 days after the surgery, so the stitch is bound to become a little loose.
Just 3 more days to go…. The vet said he could already remove the stitches, but he’d rather wait until Tuesday to complete the full 21 d...
