Indy, On Guard!

There were a few very loud noises on the neighbour’s roof early this morning and Indy was on duty.
He was up on the ledge in an instance, doing due diligence (screaming at the intruder). I suspect it is either a cat or the neighbourhood musang (civet cat).
Cleo helped….by looking.
Pole helped too, in a similar manner.
Bunny helped as well, but was looking in a slightly wrong direction. But Bunny is 80% blind, so that’s totally forgiven.

Minnie’s Check-Up At The Vet’s Today (liver Readings Normal)

This morning was Minnie’s appointment at the vet’s.
She’s getting braver now so she made noise in the car all the way there.
The good news is….Minnie’s liver readings are back to normal now!!
It started with an ALT reading of 394 when first rescued on 18th April 2020. Then, it went down to 329, to 176 and today, it is back to normal at 126!
Hooray!
Just to be on the safe side, I wanted something for Minnie to protect her liver, so the vet said I could give her Cord...

Pole’s Eating Updates

Since yesterday, I have been sneaking in tiny amounts of Cubgrub into Pole’s meals. Just very small amounts.
She cannot tolerate Coco&Joe’s and refused to eat Cubgrub, but now….

The Good Bed

Bringing down the super-single mattress was a great idea!
Now I can take naps in Bunny’s Room with the cats!

Tabs Joins Minnie And Smurfy For Meals

For some strange reason, Tabs stopped eating at the kitchen and prefers to eat with Minnie and Smurfy out at the patio. It was an even bigger surprise that Tabs wanted Coco&Joe’s – she never touched it before, but just because Minnie and Smurfy are eating it, she just took to it, without any need for transtion!
Cats are….strange.

Pole’s Eating Dilemma

Pole has not been able to eat back her staple diet of Coco&Joe’s ever since she was diagnosed with gastritis.
She has been eating canned food with Primal sprinkles.
I still haven’t given up, though and I’m still trying all sorts of ways to transition her back to 100%, if that is possible.

More Baskets And Air-Cont For Minnie And Smurfy

Minnie and Smurfy’s condo has more platforms and baskets now.
But Smurfy’s favourite is still the hanging blue basket.
Today was exceptionally hot, so the condo got wheeled into the house for some air-conditioning.
A luxurious life by our human standards, but for Minnie, I think she’d be happier sitting in a drain outside!
Smurfy is more settled. He doesn’t even want to go out of the condo when we open the door for him. He loves his blue hanging basket!

Rocky B’s Updates

Do you remember Rocky B?
His owner went back to India and left him behind without an owner. Rocky B was living in the workplace, but there was a biting incident, so the workplace did not allow him to live there anymore. The rescuer, Ruzila, contacted us. We advertised for adoption, and a kind samaritan responded immediately.
The adopter was cautioned that Rocky may be aggressive.

Pole’s Diet

I’ve been trying every few days to introduce Pole back to a 100% raw diet, specifically what she loved before, Coco&Joe’s, but I have not been successful.
It’s strange, though. Pole has been on 100% raw for YEARS. How couold she just decide she doesn’t want to eat raw anymore?
