Bunny’s “pimples”

It’s been a week since I brought Bunny to see the vet regarding those two “pimples” on his chin. My worry was it might be sporotrichosis.
The “pimples” had not got any better. In fact, it seemed to have got a bit worse. The vet last week said to start on Itranonazole (just in case it is sporotrichosis) but to bring back if there is no improvement.
Got worse.
So we went to the vet’s this morning.

Is Vincent Starting Afresh?

Last night we had another power outage that lasted quite long, so everywhere was in darkness. I went out to look for Vincent, but could not find him anywhere.
This morning, Vincent came back to the patio for breakfast!
However, he was just too scared (yes, Ginger intimidated him, but we stopped him). He ate just a wee bit and stopped, but proceeded to walk away to the porch. I had to go after him and even while in the porch (away from everyone else), he appeared to be too terrified to eat.

Yesterday evening, we had to go look for Vincent. After calling for him many, many times, we finally found him in the porch of the house next door (no one was home at the time). He just looked at us and refused to come back.

Cow Mau’s Eye

So we found blood streaming down from Cow’s left eye last night after his big fight with Cleo.
This morning, Cow seems much better already.
There is just some tearing.
Hopefully all will be well.
Right now, a visit to the vet seems unwarranted. We’ll monitor his condition throughout the day.

Another Big Fight

I was in the room with the inside cats all evening until just a few minutes ago when the weather was just too humid and I decided to take a bath.
Just as I was taking the bath, I heard a cat fight. Oh oh…
I shouted from the bathroom for help to stop the fight, but by the time I got out, Ming-Yi was carrying Cow out and blood was streaming down from the inner corner of his left eye.

A Wonderful Surprise From Penang!

This afternoon, we received a package, couriered from Penang. There was no name of sender except for a company name.
When I opened the package, it was three pieces of cloth!
And what lovely designs too – an enchanted castle, the Jungle Book and duck-frog-bee designs!
Large pieces too.
I thought they were from Ms Ooi, as these would be the type of cloth she’d buy, so I asked Ms Ooi and now she replies that these were not from her!

Vincent Comes Back For Supper Again

Vincent came for breakfast this morning, but didn’t want wetfood. He only wanted kibbles. Then, as usual, he went off and did not turn up for lunch.

Once In A While, The Sky Lights Up

We received this extremely heart-warming email from Dayang, a former undergraduate who has claimed before, for the neutering of 15 cats, from an interior village, Song, in Sarawak. Song is a 2-hour boat ride from Sibu where the nearest vet is located and Dayang used to ferry cats from Song to Sibu and back.
