Just a side story, I have been having this persistent cough for THREE weeks now with fever every few days. So, my sewing hours have been limited to day time only…(*sighs*). If you know of any cures, please do leave a comment. I’ve tried “everything” recommended. It just won’t go away…

Rosie And The Hole In Her Neck

Really…we noticed a HOLE in her neck a few days ago. There were some blood stains, and that’s what drew our attention to it.
When we parted her fur, oh my goodness…there was a hole in her neck!
However, she didn’t seemed disturbed by it at all.
It was like, “Hmm…what?”
She even allowed us to clean it with Hibiscrub, then applied Povidone Iodine. I swear by these two old-school meds nowadays. It works for butt-wounds as well. And works so ...

Jessy ordered 14 large bags on behalf of her cousin, Lim Zing Zing. All Hello Kitty bags too!
I finally finished sewing all the 14 large bags today….
Plus two more medium bags (Enchanted Castle), and also one Mickey blanket.
We thank Mr Ooi In Haw for his very kind donation of RM1316 for all these plus another Mickey blanket (which my mum is sewing now)!

A Short Story, From A Melaka Traffic Lights

I received a call this afternoon, from a young friend. He sounded a bit desperate. Apparently, he realised kittens had crawled into his car engine when he stopped at a traffic light.
The kittens must have been inside the car engine from the time he drove off from his house to the traffic lights.
He said the kittens dropped down onto the road when he stopped, but when he and his friend got out of the car, the kittens got frightened and crawled back into the car engine.

Naughty, Naughty Indy!

Indy has been getting trips out all this while and so far, he has been “good”.
Well, as good as it gets, that is. He would wander to the compound, but always stayed within the house compound and when you called him, he would quickly come back, roll on the floor, like any good boy would.

Cleo has been war-crying on a daily basis…up on the ledge.
G-Cuz has been coming over every day and intimidating/annoying her (or so we think).
For those new to G-Cuz, he is Mr G’s brother and lives at the back, diagonally, from our house.

It’s made from old curtain material from my mum and the cloth is actually water-resistant on the inside (I didn’t know this until now!).
