It is now 11.30pm.
Gerald has been quiet all day!!
Except for some whining before dinner and after, which is reasonable, he’s really been quiet.
What sorcery is this, right?
But seriously, aren’t you both glad you have a warm bed to sleep in each night now? No more having to hide in drains or be chased off by unfriendly humans? Or find shelter from thunderstorms? I’m wondering if I should even report this….(for fear of jinxing it!!)
As much as I’m not superstitious or try not to be, when Gerald’s whining is so “deafening”, I’m prepared to do anything or believe in anything, just to have some peace!
Since this morning, at 5.30am, he only whined a tiny bit.
Each time he did, I acknowledged it, and told him gently, it’s okay and that’s he is a good boy.

For some reason, Gerald was suddenly quiet at about 6pm.
Hmm….what happened?
Nothing happened, really. He wasn’t asleep too.
He isn’t mewing in this photo. He was yawning. Gerald and Misty have taken possession of this shelf. That’s fine because it’s not the Blondies’.

Yes, literally.
Husband came up with two ideas for Gerald’s incessant whining.
Either we record his stern voice telling Gerald to keep quiet and play it when he is at work (which I doubt would work)…
OR
We throw him to the wolves.
Meaning, we put him in Ginger’s Catio where the wolf pack dwells.
The wolf pack here refers to the Monsters, who function as a wolf pack.

This evening, Gerald was whining incessantly again.
He did this after he had a hearty dinner.
Lepas makan, bising tak henti-henti.
I was feeding the Blondies and the whining was driving me up the wall too.

Tabs And Her AIM Food

Ming-Yi found local sellers who sell some of the AIM food and supplements. So I’ve ordered and they have arrived. But these would be sellers who probably only managed to obtain a small quantity of stock (like 4-5 packs only).

Frenemies?

One year ago, they were deadly fight-till-the-death enemies on the street.
Now, they are eating in close proximity!
Enemies to frenemies to friends?
Good for you both, Misty and Samantha!
But even last time, it was Samantha who attacked Misty because she didn’t like Misty entering “her zone” (our porch). Misty was the newcomer.

Gerald’s Incessant Whining Since 3am…

I spoke way too soon.
Gerald started his incessant whining again, and it’s as bad as Day One.
He started last night, or rather, early this morning at 3am. I don’t know what prompted him to do it but I was still asleep upstairs and awakened by the whining.
Worried that it would surely disturb the neighbours, I got up and came downstairs to try and stop him but to no avail.

Updates On Grey (from Lee Soo Farng)

Here are some happy updates on Grey!
Soo Farng’s friend helped to set up a cozy den for Grey so that he has his own area and more importantly, so that he won’t leak urine all over the house.
It was a success!
Soo Farng said Grey urinated and defecated within the area. He also finished all his food. But he hasn’t tried the litter box yet.
The yellow stains on his hind legs are all urine stains.

Vaccination Aid For 1 Cat In Klang (Chong Peng Khai’s)

We have provided an aid of RM25 for the vaccination of this mother-cat.
Mr Chong Peng Khai (Max) is a new applicant.
Max contacted me two nights ago to ask for guidance on what to do. He had just managed to trap/catch a mother-cat and her kitten, covered in fleas. So I explained the whole process on what to do and the next day, Max took them to the vet’s. According to Max, while the vet’s, it was pandemonium because the mother tried to escape. It needed 4 people to hold her down.

Updates On Grey (from Lee Soo Farng)

According to Soo Farng, ever since starting Grey on Diazepam, he became weak, inactive, his mobility decreased significantly and his condition seemed to have deteriorated. So she was advised to stop the Diazepam (she did not give the dosage this morning) and by afternoon, Grey was again his usual self – alert and happy.

The Queens’ Afternoon Siesta

One of my other big worry is that Misty won’t get along with Samantha, both being females. And both also being so close to Gerald. Misty and Gerald have adjusted so much better than I’ve anticipated.
Initially, I was so, so worried that they would be miserable without the freedom to roam, or that they would be so unhappy being confined. But it’s now almost exactly a week and it’s been so much better than I’ve expected.
