Of course he did!
He ate after we returned from the vet’s.
I’ll say this was a “B” meal.
Jia-Wen saw something very touching last night. Apparently, Vincent had slept until his head was drooping from the stairs. It was actually quite a scary sight. Tabs was worried and went up to pat Vincent on the head. Then, Vincent got up.

After the usual sniff-and-stare game, Vincent finally ate his raw meat breakfast this morning.
Good boy, Vincent. I cannot play this game too long as I have to get to work.

Queuing Up At The Watering Hole

Vincent only ate twice today, and there were no “A” meals.
He licked a little bit of Coco&Joe’s at 10.11am and had a “B” meal of raw meat and organs at 1.55pm. Since then, he hasn’t eaten.

Of Sneezes, Coughs And Stretches

Nursing Vincent for the last two months has been a real challenge. More so because of my back injury. My back was so painful (and probably weak) that I could not even pick up a cat from the floor. Even picking up their food and water bowls led to excruciating pain.
Thank goodness I am learning Stretch Therapy now and my back has improved so, so much. Within a week, I can now bend and pick up things with minimal discomfort. Imagine the numerous times I have to bend down each session to serve Vinc...

Biosilver-Ed Everyone

I’ve decided to apply Biosilver to all our cats on a weekly basis as maintenance for their gums.
Gingivitis can lead to kidney disease later in life because the body recognises the gingivits and produces antibodies to fight it. Globulins are antibodies and these damage the nephrons in the kidneys.

An Unsuccessful Subcut And A Huge Struggle

Today, we change a new set for the subcut.
Got everything ready.
But a few seconds after the needle went in, Vincent went on a massive protest.
We tried everything we could, on the spot. We lifted him up, put him down, didn’t restrain him, restrained him, wiped his head and body with the wet flannel, etc.
We could only managed up to 80ml (sigh!) and that’s when the struggle became too violent and the needle flew out.
