Attached are pictures of 2 females dogs that are rescued from a scrapyard at Desa Petaling. The scrapyard owner locked the 2 female dogs in cages because he didn’t want them to get pregnant. Cubgrub’s Duck….who Would Like To Try?

I tried my luck just now. Duck is the last flavour for us to try. We’ve tried Rabbit (Vincent and Bunny eats it). Quail – only Bunny was willing to eat it.
So, today, we tried Duck. I was worried no one might eat it.
Believe it or not, Vincent loved it!
For the first helping, I added wheatgrass (to entice him to eat). But he clearly loved the duck.
And kept asking for more and more!!

Vincent’s Blood Test Results (Yay!)

Time for your check-up at the vet’s, Vincent!
Waiting for our turn.
Okay, now, where do I begin to tell today’s story? There’s so much to tell.
The vet says Vincent really looks good. He weighed 3.3kg at the vet’s (using the clinic scale). His hydration is good and we are to maintain the subcut at 200ml daily.
The ulcers aren’t as inflamed, but they are still there. This is due to an auto-immune condition so we really don’t have a solution to it,...

We haven’t done anything about that un-netted gap on the right because I do want to give him a chance to behave (not spray). Let’s see how it goes….
But the raised netting does act as a deterrent of sorts. It is harder to come in now in that it requires more effort to do it. So he doesn’t come in so often.

Vincent Vomited Again

It must be the sneaking soil-eating I caught him doing this morning.
Saw some vomit just now, at his favourite spot at the ladder upstairs.
Anyway, tomorrow we will have all this checked out at the vet’s.

I think all of them just love the wheatgrass powder. I mixed it with some canned food and everyone loved it. Well, actually, I love this wheatgrass powder too!

Vincent’s Secret Stash (of Soil)!

I followed Vincent when he went out to the patio this morning…
Pee-ing..ok, good boy.
And then, I caught him red-handed! He had cleared a small space by pushing the pebbles away to expose a small patch of soil so that he has a secret stash now!!

Vincent’s Morning

The morning started at 5am, as usual.
Vincent had a raw meat breakfast.
Followed by canned Cindy’s.
Indy has proven himself so he didn’t come in this morning. BUT…there were urine sprays in the room, which means, he came in in the night. Hmmmph!

Lacing With Wheatgrass

Just in case Vincent is anaemic, I bought wheatgrass powder today. This is the same product that I bought for Baggy last time when she was diagnosed FeLV+ and severely anaemic (Baggy licked rocks).

I am so, so afraid of poking a needle into the skin, but I had to do it alone today, so…
I did it! I did it!
And waited for the entire duration for the 200ml fluids, without daring to even move my hand. So scared to lift up my hand in case the needle slides out.

So, since Spider-Indy scaled the grille and came in, Cow and Bunny got to come in too just because of the thunderstorm (Cow is afraid, Bunny isn’t – he probably doesn’t even know or cannot hear the thunder).

Vincent wanted to eat during the heavy thunderstorm this afternoon, so, yes…eat up, Vincent!
I gave Vincent a mixture of Cindy’s Tender Chicken and Tuna with Bonita (skipjack – which is very fishly fragrant).
Then, a brainwave came….lace this mixture with the probiotics! The strong fishy aroma might mask the scent of the priobiotics!
Why not, why not?!!
And like a woman possessed, I gleefully mixed a generous amount of the probiotics to the fishy food…
