A Baby Gift Set (fundraising)!

One of our long-time friend and supporter, Belle, commissioned us to sew a baby gift set for her. Belle requested for a baby blanket and an owl soft toy.
Belle banked in her kind donation of RM300 for this and I started work on it three days ago. It would have been faster but I had to go to work this weekend and there were also many AnimalCare matters to attend to, plus caring for Vincent, etc.
But it was SUCH fun doing this set!

Reauction Of Blanket No 203: Bluestars (redonated Back To Us!)

Sis Nanda put in the only bid of RM500 for Bluestars and won, and she has now redonated the blanket back to us for reauction!

Here’s an update on Vincent, Heidi and Cleo.
Cleo? What’s wrong with Cleo?
About Vincent first then. Vincent has been choosy over food again. But the only life-saver food that he is willing to eat is Cindy’s Tender Chicken. When all else fails, it’s Cindy’s chicken to the rescue, so I make sure I have ample supply of this in the house.
But yesterday, even Cindy’s chicken did not work.

Blanket No 203 (Bluestars): Sold For RM500!!

There was only one single bid for Bluestars so the blanket goes to Sis Nanda for her generous bid of RM500!!!

Vincent’s News And Other Thoughts

It’s been two days since I last wrote about Vincent.
The last two days have been packed with things to do, but it’s all been good, because our Double Charity Donation received four orders!
And there have been an overwhelming number of neutering applications, which is all good. But the saddest part is, on Wednesday, we received 17 applications which saw me processing them for hours until midnight. Neutering Aid For 2 Cats In Kuala Lumpur (Frankie Bin John’s)

En Frankie is an ambulance driver at HKL. Most of the cats whose neutering he claims for are cats who have been rescued at HKL. He also endeavours to get them adopted.

We received good response yesterday, after the announcement of our “Double Charity” project (donation to our Neutering Fund and petfood for shelters/feeders).
For the above, the minimum purchase is RM350 and we will deliver it to the shelter/address in the Klang Valley for free. For out-of-state purchases, courier charges apply unless we are able to piggyback on the company’s transport.

An Update On The Two Rescued Puppies

The two puppies from yesterday’s rescue are doing well. According to Mun Mun, they are eating and drinking well. Just a bit timid. That is, of course, to be expected, since they are, after all, feral puppies.

Vincent has been eating Cindy’s canned food and homecooked food, mostly. I try to sneak in some raw food (Cubgrub) every now and then, but he would only eat a little bit. He doesn’t seem to like raw anymore.

A Dog Rescue Attempt

Early this morning, my friend, Julia, texted to ask if I could find anyone who would be able to rescue this mother-dog and two puppies from a roundabout in Subang Jaya. Apparently, this mother-dog crosses the very busy roundabout roads many times a day and Julia was very worried that the little puppies would follow her and get knocked down by cars.
