We have provided an aid of RM25 for the 1st vaccination of this cat, Fat Girl.
We will also be covering the medical aid of Fat Girl later on once she is neutered.
Mdm Lee is not literate, so I have to communicate with her via voicemail. She rescued Fat Girl as a kitten with a severe medical condition (hip injury) that needed surgery at another vet in Johor Bahru. She had already spent more than RM2000 on Fat Girl’s medical needs. Neutering Aid For 3 Cats In Kluang, Johor (Yu Bee Kian’s) & Updates

We have given a full sponsorship of RM240 for the neutering of these 3 male cats. The clinic is giving a promotional rate now (until 9th June 2024).
Ms Yu is assisted by Mr Cheng Pet Sing in her caregiving work.

Putra-Putri, Sporo-Cat, And Her Rescuer Who Will Not Give Up On Her

Ms Hanum contacted me on 17th April 2024 to ask if we know of any vet clinic that could board a sporo-cat for a short period. The cat was initially identified as male and named Putra by the vet’s staff. It was after more than a month that Putra was discovered by the vet we recommended (for sporo-cats) to be female, so she’s been renamed Putri now!

Mdm Lee is a new applicant. She and some of her friends have been rescuing and rehoming (to the best of their ability) the neighbourhood cats for many years now. They get the cats vaccinated, neutered and also medically treated if there are any issues.

We Are 15 Years Old Today!

The day we started, on 31st May 2009, with nothing but a cardboard box and a determination to help street animals. My modest ambition was to help 10 animals per year, but we ended up helping 660 animals in our first year, so we have not stopped since then!
And we have to thank all our volunteers who gave their time and effort to help with fundraising in those earlier years.

We are glad that our three medical cases (with special fundraising), namely, Grey, Nomi and Miao are completed now.
Ever since our domain name change, we have received even more requests from first-time applicants, so the name change was a good decision! I think it is easier to look for us now, using the various search engines.
With the medical cases concluded, we hope to go back to basics now – Neutering and vaccination of street animals. This is our primary mission.

The Blondies To The Vet’s For Their Annual Vaccination Booster

Today’s the Blondies’ annual vaccination booster shots.
All three were given a clean bill of health. Yay!
Kai is 4.1kg, Akira 4.3kg and Indra 4.6kg. The youngest is the heaviest!
So, annual booster done, dewormed, and the next booster shot will be in three years’ time.
In the car trip there, all three were singing in an orchestra, and not exactly harmonising too! But on the trip back, they were quiet. Haha…
