Claudyn contacted us again for help to spay a female dog that she has been feeding at setapak KL. About two years ago , we have neutered a few dogs at the same area.
We went over this morning. An elderly auntie could get hold of the dog , she helped us to put the dog into the cage.
The dog had her heat cycle about a month ago, she’s most probably in her early pregnancy.

These are the receipts of cat and dog food, medical and others for the expenditures in April 2024. The total is Rm15,129.91 ( including salary for a caretaker at Janda Baik Rm3,100 and Rm1,500 at cattery Rawang ). The balance of the expenditure from the previous months is Rm34,918.37, Now the grand total is Rm50,048.28

2 days ago, we were informed by our volunteer John that a female dog met with an accident, apparently she was hit by a vehicle and she managed to crawl to the curb.
The time when we sent her to our panel, her two hind legs were swollen. And she couldn’t walk.
This was the prognosis by our vet :
Update about John Cheras. She has lumbar vertebral fracture (spinal fracture) and no pain sensation on both the hindlimbs. Able to urinate and pass motion. But is unable to use the hindlimbs.

Yesterday Morning, We Went To Taman Duta Dog Trapp..

Yesterday morning, we went to Taman Duta dog trapping. This was our second attempt trying to get these dogs for neutering. They are highly sensitive, little movement would trigger them to run, the feeder, Cynthia had to put the food inside the enclosure and left the scene , only would the dogs come out and eat.
We managed to trap three inside the enclosure but they reacted frantically once they know they were trapped.

She was rescued at an industrial place at Rawang and the person that rescued her was her owner. However, 1 month ago he decided that he can no longer care for her due to his family commitments. Yesterday Morning, We Went Back To Shah Alam And C..

Yesterday morning, we went back to shah Alam and caught the 7th dog for neutering. It was a hard feat as we needed to block the fences where the dog could escape before hand, making sure that there’s no exit at all after he was lured inside the compound.

Today We Managed To Trap These 2 Male Pups Out Of ..

Today we managed to trap these 2 male pups out of the 6 dogs fed by Siew Fang In Taman Equine. Thank you so much for sponsoring their vet costs! They will be neutered, vaccinated and ear-tipped before we release them back to their community after 7 days post-op recovery. Unfortunately the 2 other female and 2 other male dogs didn’t show up today so we will be back another day to get them.

On Friday , we went back to the construction site to trap more dogs. Before this video, we managed to get 2 female dogs.
In this video, the reason why we acted slowly in cornering the dog into the cage was so that the dog doesn’t react hastily to our actions. The more calm and slow we act, the more clueless the dog gets in which direction it should go until it’s surrounded with no escape. And it calms it down though initially he was growling at us.

Last Wednesday, we set up an enclosure at a construction site at Mont Kiara aiming at getting 4 dogs for neutering.
Just before the set up a friendly female dog came to us ( picture ) and we put her into a cage and brought her for neutering at our panel clinic.
These dogs here are fed by Seow Lin and Evonne. After setting up we went there again on Friday to catch more dogs.

Last Friday, a volunteer of ours, May , saw a stray dog with a small animal in his mouth, upon closer look, it was a kitten. She quickly ran towards the dog and the dog just dropped the kitten. May then picked up the kitten and called one of our members. We brought the kitten for check up and we were told by our vet that she’s having hernia where her intestines dropped from her abdomen to her left tigh area.

Last Sunday , we went to Cheras dog trapping , we set up the playpens and tried to lure the dogs but they don’t seem interested. Perhaps they have been fed earlier that day.
While we were waiting, this friendly female came by and asked for food. So we fed her and took her along with us to our panel for spaying.

We went dog trapping yesterday morning at Bukit Antarabangsa Ampang. Megan contacted us for help to catch and neuter 2 dogs , 1 male and 1 female that she has been feeding, together with Kylie and Francisca. The male is friendly but the female dog is a bit timid. Our beloved 1st TNRM mobile that has served us for more than a decade is deplorable condition and desperately needs a major cleaning. We have sent it in to a car detailing shop to get it professionally and thoroughly cleaned as it has not only gotten very dirty but we noticed a lot of mold as well which could be hazardous to our health and the animals we transport!

Marcus contacted us for help to catch and neuter this female dog the family has been feeding for sometime in Cheras. We went there yesterday morning. To our surprise, the neighbourhood welcomes her existence , everyone is feeding her. We love this as we know she’s safe from the local council though being a stray.
She’s rather friendly but timid. Catching her could be tricky. Once she knows we were trying to get her , her escape mode was on. Somehow we managed to get her nonetheless.
