In loving memory of Amber
On 4 April 2021, Amber came to SetiaWalk and brought along her 5 young kittens to seek refuge. When the Security Team found them in the car park basement, all 6 of them were skinny, exhausted and starving. Mr Navin, SetiaWalk's Security Head, immediately fed them food and updated TNRM. Together, we looked after these pitiful strays at SetiaWalk, fed them daily, protect them and posted the 5 kittens for adoption.

Lara, the oldest of our rescued cats left us this morning of kidney failure. She was rescued from a hot shack at old Klang Road 7 years and 4 months ago. Lara was one of the friendliest cats around, she just got along with everyone, cats and humans alike. People say, tortoiseshells ( calicos ) are the friendliest of all cat breeds, it’s true but most people don’t like them because of their colours. This elusive Alpha male at SetiaWalk Puchong was spotted yesterday by a volunteer and notified our member. So we went with a trap and voila! We got him. He was our first TNRM cat sent to our new panel clinic St Angel Animal Hospital in Puchong.

The female pup ( picture 1 ) is fed by Vichitra at Bukit Jalil. She was picked up and sent to our panel clinic for spaying yesterday. The place she’s at now is not safe, someone must have complained to the local council last week but missed her. Can anyone please give her a home so she’s safe from the dog catchers ? Yesterday evening, while we were discharging a dog we sent for spaying last week, we were approached by our panel vet asking us if we would rescue a dog in a near death condition nearby, we agreed.
This black female dog came to Pauline’s front gate and collapsed. Pauline went to our panel clinic to seek help as she couldn’t manage her alone. We didn’t know Pauline then. That’s when we were approached by our panel vet.

From rags to riches ! Last week on Tuesday, we received a text from Elma saying that she would like to adopt this male pup fed by Vichitra at Bukit Jalil after seeing an adoption post Vichitra sent in. We couldn’t be happier for him because we know this is one of the best homes a dog could wish for. We told Vichitra about the good news and she quickly went and picked him up and sent him to our panel clinic for neutering.
