We were informed by our volunteer May that a resident has made a complaint to DBKL to remove all the stray cats in the vicinity of the condominium she stays at Batu Caves area. Just last week we have neutered 4 cats from there and many more in the previous years. We Really Have No Heart To Release Her Back To The..

We really have no heart to release her back to the streets. She is such a lovely and friendly dog and she’s just about 6 months old. There’s no way she can survive the dog catchers if someone makes a complaint on her to the local council. Her post op is coming to an end, we’ll have no other choice but to release her to the streets.

Bailey is loved by the community and famous for his super friendly, sociable, easy-going and affectionate nature. This sweet and beautiful 1-year old young male orange cat truly adores human companionship. He indeed deserves to be adopted into a loving home.

On Friday morning, we went over to Kota Damansara to catch a female pup ( about 6 months old ) for neutering. She’s fed by Amie.
Upon seeing the dog, we realised that she’s such a friendly and lovable dog. These are the receipts of cat and dog food, medical and others for the expenditure in July and August 2022. The total is Rm9,742.36 and Rm9,764.40( including salary for a caretaker at our cattery Rm1,100 and Janda Baik since Rm1,600 ), so the Total is Rm19,509.76. The balance of the expenditure from May and June 2022, Rm10,164.44 Now the grand total is Rm29,674.21

Another 3 stray cats have been caught by the residents of Taman Mutiara Puchong for neutering. With this, a total of 33 stray cats have been neutered in this taman. Well done!

On Sunday, we started at 8am to trap the dogs In Segambut. It wasn’t difficult as they have gotten used to eating inside the enclosure. We managed to get 6 dogs this time with the help of some volunteers. Thanks so much.

Earlier this evening, we bumped into a female cat we neutered more than 3 years ago at Dutamas, so we gave her some wet food.
It’s such a joy to see that the dogs and cats we neutered are doing well. From the look of it, her fur is in good condition and well fed.
When you see stray cats and dogs on the streets, start feeding them, contact us and let us work together to neuter them. Feeding without neutering will only worsen the problem of overpopulation.

At Segambut, we have set up the portable fences to get the dogs used to eating inside and it’s working. At this site, there are about 15-20 dogs according to their feeder Seowlin.
