Dear all,
These are the receipts of cat and dog food, medical and others for the expenditure in November 2022. The total is Rm16,604.20 ( including salary for a caretaker at our cattery Rm1,100 and Janda Baik Rm3,000 for 2 workers ). The reason for the higher expenditure in November is due to the increase of medical costs. The balance of the expenditure from September and October 2022, Rm14,284.64, Now the grand total is Rm30,888.84 .
We are a non profit NGO and we rely 100% on public funding...

Great News Remember This Female Dog That Had Tick ..

Great news ! Remember this female dog that had tick fever ? Well, she recovered and she was discharged on Wednesday. She got along well with Pushpa’s existing dog so Pushpa adopted her, one of the best homes around. Her name now is Ira. We were so happy to hear the great news ! Mirabel is a sweet and pretty 2.5 months old orange kitten. She is friendly, playful, affectionate and adores human companionship. When you are at the sofa, she likes to come and accompany you, either on your lap or right next to you.

Yesterday, we went over to Sri Murni Selayang to get cats fed by May for neutering. We managed to get 5 cats ( 4 female and 1 male ). So far, we have neutered about 25 - 30 cats from this area alone and counting.

Last Monday, a volunteer, Ms Pushpa spotted this female dog that came to her house in PJ Old town. She was weak. She has a collar on her and looking at her fur condition, she must have wandering the streets for awhile, has someone lost this dog sometime ago?

Lilian contacted us recently for help to get these 6 dogs for neutering and we went over to Bukit Jalil this afternoon and with the help of a few feeders including Lilian, we loaded them into two separate cages and sent them to our panel clinic for neutering.

About 3 months ago, Hsin Yee contacted us for help to neuter a pack of about 30 dogs she just started to feed in PJ. We neutered about 20 dogs and with the balance of more than 10 dogs, with the help of her friends, she managed to neuter them.
From time to time, mbpj dog catchers would come and catch some of the dogs, Hsin Yee always bailed them out.
