Urgent help needed. Pregnant mum is at Bandar Puteri Vet for surgery. Botg her shoulder blades are fractured and one of the hip joint is luxated. Hi, we need your opinion. MDDB is looking at creating a platform to provide food and neutering aid to independent rescuers. This way, we can ensure that more street dogs are neutered. We will go according to areas and will also hold discussions with the local council of the area together with the location's elected representatives. We will be seeking help from local businesses located in the selected area as well as members of the public to push this exercise forward. So, what do you all think?

We have some bad and sad news. Dr Michelle of VEC called to inform that Miracle has just passed away. During the morning and afternoon, Miracle was still active, drinking milk and crying for attention. Towards 5pm, they noticed Miracle was quiet. Around 6pm, breathing became faster, open mouth, gasping for air. They applied oxygen, helped a bit, breathing slowed down. But eventually they noticed Miracle turning purple and she passed away. So, it is back to looking for a home fosterer for Miracle. We arranged to discharge her tomorrow and the vet already has other commitments. Someone had offered to foster and had even wanted to come and take Miracle home yesterday saying that she could take care of the pup. Suddenly, just a few minutes ago she says that she will be going to work and Miracle will be left alone while she is at work which is from 9.00am to 6.00pm. I found this puppy in a drain yesterday, and now I am looking for people to adopt or foster until he finds his forever home! Unfortunately I cannot take in another dog as I am at full capacity already.

This accident victim mother dog has given birth but all the puppies died for except this one that we named Miracle. The mother is in a bad shape and hence cannot care for Miracle. So far only one person from Malacca has come forward to foster pup. And no one is available to send puppy to her. We found another alternative at VEC (Veterinary Excellent Care) Veterinary Clinic where the vet will take puppy back and bottle feed it at night and bring it back to the clinic during the day. SOS SOS SOS. A family, which is financially strapped was given this sick old dog by the family that owned it. The dog is weak due to heart problems and they are taking care of it. It has been in and out of the vet and we are finding it difficult to pay for it. It has severe heart prob. They are at the vet now and cannot pay the bill.
