Today, we had to do something we hate doing - asking for and removing Nica from her adopter's home. Our 'inspector' had gone to have a look at Nica several times found her chained up. The chain was short and tied around her neck without a collar. We strongly believe that dogs must not live their lives chained up 24/7. It is okay to chain up your pet dog momentarily when you are taking your car out or bringing it in or need to keep your gate open for a while. So we took Nica back and she will be ...

AN URGENT PLEA FOR DOG BLOOD
Hi everyone, I'm desperately looking for a blood donor for my dog that can donate today 25/7/2023 (Tuesday) at UPM vet. ( just give a call and my sister will bring your dog to Upm ) She needs to undergo surgery soon by this week to remove her tumour but my dog's blood count is falling drastically hence we need the donor by today 1pm. This is our Mon and she suffers from mental health issues. She is generally a very sweet girl but this happens when she is alone. Mon is on behaviour modification medicine to keep her calm. When we took her in, she had chewed-up both her hind legs which required amputation. It is as if she has hallucinations that her back legs are her enemies. She may be having some canine form of schizophrenia since the symptoms are:

This week alone there's been more than on case whereby mother dogs and their puppies were suspected to have been dumped. If people don't want puppies - they should get their dogs spayed and neutered. They cannot expect their female dogs to keep their legs crossed and their male dogs to keep theirs zipped up. Some say there isn't a need for their male pets to be neutered. That is wrong.
