We noticed there were many people confused about the term NO KILL SHELTER. For them it meant no euthanasia for even dogs that have no hope. One of the biggest NO NO that we noticed was that many humanised dogs - not animals mind you - as they have no qualms about slaughtering to eat. Please understand that dogs are animals and they are not humans. Dogs do not understand about illness and pain, nor do they understand about karma.

We have been feeding these puppies. We believed they have been living in this longkang since birth, the mama dog is smart enough to keep them in a safe place. We have once carried one of the puppies out of the longkang, but the puppy got panic and jumped right back in. The longkang is dry and clean, no water actively running. The recent euthanasia of terminally ill Sendayan Girl has brought in so mant ignorant people hurling all kind of accusations against us. We have never seen this people here. And I bet, if we had asked them if they would be kind enough to foster Sendayan Girl until she dies β none would have offered to do so. We have named the neck injury dog Noel. He had a huge amount of maggots in his neck and they were still digging them out this evening. His blood count was also drastically low given the extent of his neck infection and the amount of maggots feasting on him. So, there are two people who are saying it was wrong to euthanise Sendayan Girl because 'she was eating.' She is eating because she has been pumped up with pain killers. To these people, here is an easy explanation: Sendayan Girl has an invasive form of cancer. She was admitted atca vet since April and underwent chemotherapy for a month. There were still no changes. Our beautiful Sandy passed away in her sleep last night. The cancer had spread to her lungs and ravaged her old body. Sandy is extra special.
She came to us in a batch of 18 dogs that were rendered homeless after their owner commited suicide in early 2014. She was the mother of 16 of the dogs that belonged to various litters.
