I am sure that all of you know that there is an acute shortage of rice in the market. There is no more local rice which we used to get at RM80 for 50 kgs anymore. In fact there is no more local rice at all. We have been looking around and found a distributor who can give us a imported ricexat RM150 per 50 kg sack. Nightmare after nightmare. On of our shelter dogs Max had a mass near the nose and this is what we hot from the vet:
"After a careful review of the scan, unfortunately there is actually bone involvement caused by the mass as you can see the bone area showed by the area there is darker compared to the other side.
This area is irregular too at the bone surface there

We noticed there were many people confused about the term NO KILL SHELTER. For them it meant no euthanasia for even dogs that have no hope. One of the biggest NO NO that we noticed was that many humanised dogs - not animals mind you - as they have no qualms about slaughtering to eat. Please understand that dogs are animals and they are not humans. Dogs do not understand about illness and pain, nor do they understand about karma.

We have been feeding these puppies. We believed they have been living in this longkang since birth, the mama dog is smart enough to keep them in a safe place. We have once carried one of the puppies out of the longkang, but the puppy got panic and jumped right back in. The longkang is dry and clean, no water actively running.
