Controlled movement order or not, the veterinary appointments of our four-legged wards must be met on time.
Tomorrow on April 1, both Kakak Diamond and Baboo have their follow-ups at Gasing Veterinary Hospital.
We have been told that we have to clear the pending. We are looking at clearing Baboo’s and Diamond’s previous vet visit balance of RM517.50 as well as raise another RM600 to go towards tomorrow’s visit.

Due to the controlled movement order, many feeders are afraod to go out and do their daily feeding. As an NGO, MDDB can hive you a letter saying that you need to be out to do feeding. However, we urge those who want to get a letter from us to strictly go out only to feed as well as observe social distancing. the extension of the controlled movement order until April 14 may buy us a little more time but it is inevitable that the local authority will come after us once its over. They have told us to move out fast and that they do not want to forcibly remove our dogs. We have managed to raise about 50% of the RM14,000 required to pay the deposits and initial rental for the new placecwe have found. Besides our old and disabled dogs, our blood donor dogs live at this place as well. Please help...

This is regarding requests to rescue dogs. We are not able to do anything because of the restricted movement order. We can't go anywhere and so there is virtually nothing we can do. There are also roadblocks in some areas. The police are also patrolling neighbourhoods and making people who are outside go home. We received a call asking for blood donation for 8-year-old Ninja who is to undergo a surgery to remove a tumour from his spleen. We dispatched our lifesavers Elizabeth and Polka to Gasing.
Elizabeth's blood was a match and she donated for Ninja's surgery. Our blood donor dogs somehow know that they are saving lives and donate without any fear.

We are happy to share that the owner of the new house we found has agreed to the dogs. However, he wants us to take up tenancy latest by April 15. The location is quite secluded but mot far from Gasing Hospital and that itself is good for us as the house is needed for our disabled, old and blood donor dogs. The rental is RM4,000 a month and we will not have an issue with the monthly payments because, just like how we do it now, MDDB volunteers and directors make a monthly contribution...

This naughty woman was rescued somewhere between 2014 and 2015 in Taman Sentosa,Klang. She was being fed by some hawkers there and when she littered, they sheltered her in a cart. We rescued her and named her Lady. Her puppies were put up for adoption and Lady stayed with us. As time passed we started to find out that there wasn't anything ladylike about Lady. She was instead a female street ruffian who loved creating chaos. So Lady was renamed Chu Chu. Chu Chu loves her new spacious home.
