Someone who had rescued an injured dog appealed for blood donation yesterday. Our valliant Petey S went to the rescue and donated blood to the dog which is admitted at Gasing Veterinary Hospital.
A little history about Petey S. He was about three months old when his owners dropped him off at a veterinary clinic to be euthanised. Reason was that he was having an incurring scab on his ears.
The vet, who had no heart to do the deed, asked us if we could take him and convinced the owners to releas...

Our Zorro Died. He Was With Us For Six Years And W.. 11th Aug 2020, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
Our Zorro died. He was with us for six years and was one of the sweetest dogs. Apparently it was not tick fever that killed him. He was given a blood transfusion from our Petey S yesterday before being sent to an ultrasound pending surgery but he died in the midst of it. But what would we need to have done in order to detect things such as this? Zorro appeared to be perfectly healthy until the day he vomitted (Friday) ...
