His neighbours claim he had neglected an earlier dog that died. They said he was neglecting an old basset hound and a doberman that were currently in his space. The neighbours also claimed that they were the ones feeding the dogs most of the time. So they opened the gate for the dogs to escape and organised a rescue. The basset hound is with us. If you all remember, basset hound Mr X was handed to us a few weeks ago by some Subang Jaya residents. They alleged that he was neglected by his owner. They also claimed that a year ago, another dog owned by the same man had died due to serious neglect and deprivation of food. Remember this case? We received a PM asking to rescue the dog which had been in a drain the whole night. We then called Claws Veterinary Clinic and asked them if they could please get the dog as it was snappy. Whilst Claws chief vet Dr Nesawathi was on her way there, an independant rescuer Malathi Saravanan went and muzzled and secured the dog. We have named the Genting dog Casino. He is admitted at St Angel. Based on the physical assessment, the vet said he has few big maggot wounds on the neck with dead maggots. His feeder had treated the maggot wound but did not take out the dead maggots. The wounds are bursting now because his body is pushing all the dead maggots out. He is being treated for that. Casino is also 3 legged and has pressure sores on his front limbs. Full blood test has been taken for Casino and we will be updated more...
