Her pee is normal yellowish color. Her poop is light brown color and no blood is seen in the stool. The anus is abit inflamed and red because there seems to be a small cut there. There is no prolapse of the rectum seen. The vet at Gasing gave her some probiotics and dewormed her. They recommend giving her gastrointestinal diet that will help making her stool more firm. We need to monitor the stool consistency.

Update On Two-Legged Princess. Her Skin Condition .. 21st Mar 2021, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
Update on two-legged Princess:
Her skin condition has became worse. We have shaved and cleaned the wounds already. She needs daily wound cleaning with chlorhexidine solution and then flushed with saline, wiped dry then applied with antibiotic cream. There might be a lot of scabs on the wounds, which needs to be peeled off and cleaned, so that the antibiotic cream can penetrate into to the wound.
She is on some oral medications including antibiotics and some low dose steroid to help with her ski...

This is one of our senior dogs Pappu. He is going in for a surgery to Gasing today. He is having abscess / salivary mucosil under his throat that makes it difficult for him to eat and he needs surgery. His red blood cells are a bit low and the vet will sedate him mildly today and will slice off some of the abscess first to make him be able to eat. His surgery is at 2pm today. Pappu came to us more than six years ago. He was raised in a temple in Klang and when the old temple committee was replac...

Rescuing Isnt For Everyone. Those Who Want To Vent.. 16th Mar 2021, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
Rescuing isn’t for everyone.

They must also understand that the ultimate goal is to ensure the rescued animals have a good life and not one that is compromised, and worse off than when they were on the streets, after they have been ‘rescued’.
Those who do not have the capacity to rescue big scale must be content with rescuing one or two dogs or cat...

Our Prince Has Been Admitted With An Injury In His.. 13th Mar 2021, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
Our Prince has been admitted with an injury in his thigh. The vet says the wound is quiet deep and there are some air pockets around it. They have to insert drainage tubes in the wound to prevent infection, and hence the admission. Although, there is no concrete evidence as to how Prince acquired the wound, it is strongly suspected that he could have been bitten by Petey S (PTS). It is because both doggos believe that they are the top dogs and constantly challange each other's manhood. Prince wa...

Sometime Last Month We Received A Cry For Help And.. 12th Mar 2021, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
Sometime last month we received a cry for help and after seeing the pics, we knew we had to do something. It was not only for the dogs but also for the independant rescuer and her family members who were leading miserable lives due to their involvement with animal rescue. Their home had literally turned into a dumpster and the dogs were neglected and some had even died. We were initially told there were 10 dogs, so we guess one must have died between then and now. We received them today and all ...
