Update on Happy:
1. Happy's red blood cells are increasing from 22 to 30 aft the Erythropoetin jabs (Normal value 37 - 60)
2. But her creatinine value also is increasing too from 500 to 600 (normal value 60 - 180)
3. Her subcut amount also has been increased from 400ml to 500ml daily
4. The vet has given additional meds for the kidney
5. Happy is given CoQ10 supplement twice a day
6. She needs to go for a follow up again after 2 weeks to check her red blood cells and kidney values

Recently a young man rescued a badly injured dog and brought it to Gasing Veterinary Hospital. Realising the gravity of the injuries, the hospital gave him our number and he called asking if we could take over. Given that Gasing does not do orthopedic surgeries - we had to arrange for the doggo named Jack to be transferred to Lian Veterinary Clinic for the surgeries. We have a little bit more to go before we can settle the month's commitments and sit out the lockdown. Our main priority is ensuring our workers at the sanctuary and half-way home are paid and that we stock-up food supplies for them. Disebabkan hujan lebat selama beberapa hari, ibu anjing yg selalu menumpang makan di kawasan rumah saya telah membawa 10 anak anjing di tepi rumah jiran. Saya amat berharap ada yang sudi mengambil dan menjaga anak2 anjing tersebut agar kehidupan mereka lebih baik dari ibunya. Tinggal 8 ekor anjing dewasa (termasuk ibu) yang sering datang utk menumpang makan. We are in trouble because of the impending full lockdown on June 1. This means we have to store up food and necessities for a month as there maybe a possibility the two weeks will be extended to a month. We have to also pay our workers by latest Sunday (May 30th), so that they will have at least one day to send money home before the lockdown happens. CESAR WAS TAKEN TO GASING VETERINARY HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY AFTER RESCUE TODAY. UPDATE ON CESAR:
1. Quite an old dog (more than 10 yrs old) by looking at the tartar build up
2. Negative for distemper and parvovirus. But will be under isolation for a week at least
3. Full blood test taken. His RBC (red blood count), WBC (white blood count) and platelets are okay. His liver and kidney condition will known tomorrow

HAVE YOU SEEN OUR HALEY?
ONE OF OUR DOGS HAVE RUN AWAY FROM HER FOSTERER'S HOME. HAYLEY COMES TO PJ FROM RAWANG FOR HER TVT JABS ONCE EVERY FEW WEEKS. SHE ALWAYS STAYS THE NIGHT AT A VOLUNTER'S HOME IN SECTION 12 - BEHIND LOTUS RESTAURANT - THE NIGHT BEFORE.
