The month has ended and rental, utilities and staff salaries are all lurking around tge corner and giving us palpatations. We do not want to teach our small reserve. Tempers are frayed and there's an ear fettish going on at the half-way-home. Blood donor Petey S bit senior Milky in the ear. Milky is now furious. Petey S is regretfull for biting Uncle Milky's ear.
Milky was rescued from the Selayang pound as a pup and was adopted by a wonderful family. However, they had to return Milky to us after the father of the family passed away suddenly and they had to give up their house and move to an apartment.

UPDATE ON AMMU (rescued in Shah Alam.)
An abdominal ultrasound, found that kidney stones in both kidneys. Pancreas test is normal. A full blood test was done twice and initially liver parameters were high but went down significantly in three days. However, Ammu still does not look too good clinically because she still doesnt eat and can't walk. Multiple diagnostic tests such a repea blood tests, pancreatitis test, xray and ultrasound have been conducted but stillcould not detect why she does ...

It is the 27th of the month already and we are dead broke. With rental, utilities and staff salaries to pay - we are in a dire situation. It is truly disheartening that the scams, dramatics and con jobs happening in animal rescue is hurting organisation like ours that has been faithfully helping the voiceless for over a decade. In the past dogs infected with distemper would be put down as the general assumption is that chances of survival is bad. However that has been proven wrong by many. Dogs with distemper treated in a home environment have a good chance of survival. Here are two dogs that beat the odds after suffering from serious distemper survival. Thanks to Dr Wong of Wawasan for the videos.
The older dog is Rainbow and the owner is Saw Jee whilst the youngster is Chewie and owned by Sarah Wong.
