Dogs are lovable creatures but being pack animals, they can also be unpredictable and volatile. Thus putting dogs in a shelter does not mean you just need to feed them, bathe them and take care of their veterinary needs. It means that you have to have people monitoring them 24/7 - with the help of CCTV at all times. We have two dogs with cancer - Valerie and Ding Ding. Both are fighting bravely and still standing strong. We bought these supplements for them today. Apparently these will slow down the cancer and we hope both Valerie and Ding Ding who are undergoing chemotherapy will have many more good years. Ding Dibg has grade lymphoma whilst Valerie has nasal adenocarcinoma, cutaneous lymphoma as well as lung and splenic masses.

Time sure flies. Our first TNRM exercise took place seven years ago. At that time on location neutering was allowed and we would rent a place for two weeks, hire a vet and borrow surgical equipment and necessary drugs from PAWS which helped us. Then the Veterinary Council suddenly says there are legal clauses that states non veterinarians and non-veterinary establishments cannot hire veterinary doctors. This is how we feed our doggos. Each doggo gets his or her individual bowl of food. If there are 20 dogs in the particular area - we will place there 23 or 25 bowls. The additional bowls prevents the alpha dogs hijacking other dogs' food when they are done. When they want, they move over to the additional bowls. This way there are no fights over food or food insecurity among the dogs. They all know they will get enough.
