We are in dire need to pay our contractor for the extension work at the sanctuary. More dogs will be coming in and we also have to put up a rest area and a senior doggo section for very old dogs. We are in urgent need to put up a rest area for our Block B dogs. The number of dogs have increased and thus the Block B area is getting crowded with dogs not having sufficient shade. We are also going to turn the far end of Block B as an old doggo area with a small segregated shady area for the to take a rest when not in their room. We are hoping to help an independant rescuer some dogs from the Ipoh pound. There are 17 dogs and she has to pay RM200 for each dog. She also needs to neuter them as well as buy Ipoh SPCA collars for the as the Ipoh City Hall regulations to denote they have been neutered. This is the break down she has given. Doggos have been put into their bedroom by their caretaker, who is also there with them, but the still want to go out and play. Our dogs sleep with their respective caretakers as we do not want to lock them up in small and narrow cages. And that is why they need a caretaker to share their room to prevent fights that may break out. Doggos generally have a lot to discuss and sometimes these discussions can turn volatile.

There has been a case of a rabid dog in Serdang which resulted in the death of a 40-year-old man. We have confirmed this with the state health authorities. Given this please take care of your dogs and don't let them roam around and go for walks on their own. Feeders, please take care of the dogs you feed if you are able to keep them isolated. This is our Ding Ding who is under palliative care. She has cancer which has spread extensively. However, Ding Ding still eats well and does not seem to be in pain. We have also put her on various supplements. What we are doing right now is keeping Ding Ding as happy as possible. When the time comes, we may have to do the inevitable but we are hoping that Ding Ding will embark on her new journey by her own will.

This woman took in two puppies from the streets and kept them for about five days before dumping them on the streets. Update on Junior Prince (the pup) admitred at Gasing vet.
1. He is eating well. but he also had diarrhea this morning.
2. The cell count has increased from 12% to 23%. platelet count is still low (80).
3. He might possibly had intestinal worm infestation causing anemia or tick fever.
4. The vet has started him on antibiotics, folic acid, iron supplement and dewormer yesterday.
