UPDATE ON ARCHIE
He has no fever today. Appetite is good and he is bright, alert and responsive. Wound looks okay as well. The vet has done another blood test today and his PCV has increased to 30%.

we are urgently and desperately seeking funds to pay for the cost of surgery for this puppy rescued by independent rescuers Kogila and Nirosha. Both of its back legs and tail are badly fractured. This is the badly injured little boy rescued by independant rescuers Kogila Shetty and Nirosha. Both his legs and his tail are fractured. One of the legs has a very bad fracture and seriously infected and hence both (tail and one leg) must be amputated. The other leg can be saved through surgery. We arranged for admission at Gasing but unfortunately they do not do orthopedic surgeries there. We have transfered him to Lian Clinic and arranged for blood donors. Sometimes people hoard dogs in the guise of rescue because they are undergoing depression. Taking the dogs in gives them solace. We received 7 dogs from this batch 2 weeks ago after the person who had them died. From her living conditions, it was evident that she was depressed. Luckily, some people from the neighbourhood spared us the expenses and paid for everything until the dogs came to us. All 7 are now at our sanctuary. This is to clarify that MDDB can only issue our official receipts for donations banked into our account. We cannot issue our receipts for funds banked directly vendor's or veterinary clinic accounts.
