So these are some of the 500 river terrapin hatchlings that we will be releasing this October, at our annual terrapin release event :) It's happening on Saturday, 5th Oct at Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kemaman.

These bandanas are mada by the women of Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kemaman through our community empowerment programme. You can use these bandanas when going out for a casual date, when doing sports or even as an accessory.
By purchasing these bandanas, you are actually directly helping the women of Kg. Pasir Gajah generate their own income.

Turtle Alley is located to the right of the Dragon Arch in Kuala Terengganu, and connects the main street of China Town to the riverfront. It is themed lane, decorated with turtle mosaics on the walls and on the ground. The walls are filled with turtle mosaics on one side, and metallic plate reproductions of the “Little Turtle Messenger” storybook in English, Malay and Chinese on the other.

Attention, turtle lovers!
This year we are proud to announce that we have around 500 river terrapin hatchlings to be released into the river on our Annual Terrapin Release Day, which falls on the 5th October 2019!
Hatchlings will be microchipped prior to their release. Part of the adoption funds collected will be used to purchase microchips.
Symbolically adopt our terrapin and help us raise funds!!

#TakNakStraw Challenge.
A plastic straw will stay in the environment for hundreds of years, causing harm to wildlife and people. Straws and other single-use disposable plastics hurt sealife when they are mistaken for food. When animals encounter plastics, they can become entangled or can starve due to ingestion. Scientists estimate that more than half of all sea turtles have eaten plastic.

TCS RIVER TERRAPIN CONSERVATION CENTRE
The TCS River Terrapin Conservation Centre was established in 2017, in Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kemaman. It is located right next to the Pasir Gajah Community Hall (Dewan Orang Ramai). The centre consists of a Turtle Gallery, a hatchery and a head-starting pond.

Did you know that we conduct Nature Discovery Trips to provide participants a more in-depth experience with nature? The 2D1N programme includes the one-day Turtle & Fireflies Discovery Trip plus a beach cleanup and trash analysis activity the next morning.
The 3D2N programme includes the 2D1N programme plus a river cruise and mangrove planting session. Children will be enrolled in our "Junior Scientist" programme in which they are taught the basics of data collection and recording.
