Meet our turtle warriors from SJK(C) Chukai, who symbolically adopted terrapin(s) during their visit at our centre in Kg. Pasir Gajah.

Education Programme With Smk Mak Lagam

TCS telah dijemput untuk memberikan taklimat di surau SMK Mak Lagam. Pada masa yang sama, pihak sekolah pun menjemput Pusat Pendidikan Alam Sekitar ecoCare, Zoo Kemaman serta Pusat Pengurusan dan Penguatkuasaan Penyu (TCIC) untuk memeriahkan lagi program sekolah tersebut. Pegawai Pendidikan TCS, Aliah, memberi penjelasan tentang perbezaan penyu, tuntung dan kura-kura serta menunjukkan cara membuat Ecobrick kepada para pelajar. We Have Started Microchipping Our 4 Month Old Rive..

We have started microchipping our 4 month old river terrapins prior to their release into a river at Kg. Pasir Gajah, where their eggs were collected from.
These microchips will give the terrapins their own identification number, just like our IC number. Each microchip costs RM30 and we have 500 terrapins to microchip!
The funds used to purchase these microchips are coming from our #TerrapinAdoptionProgramme!

In conjunction with the 12th Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF), a group of us are organising Wildlife Conservation Forum 2.0, a collection of stories from conservationists in Malaysia. These talks are meant to open the eyes and hearts of those who are considering conservation as a career path, as well as to inspire the younger generation to do something for our nature and wildlife.
