It’s the painted terrapin nesting season! 🐢
We’ve incubated close to 30 painted terrapin eggs in the past two days. And while we were already in the river, we removed a huge discarded fishing net too!
Discarded fishing gear endanger river and painted terrapins and other wildlife, hence it’s important to remove them before terrapins get caught and drown in them 😕
