Pammi update
Well today she's eating very well & is very bright & is wanting to play! She has dragged the pile of towels down on to the floor & made a big bed & is playing with her new toys! Looking good guys, thinking your prayers are working!!! Huge thanks Gill xxx

Received this e mail yesterday from a visitor to SDF Concerning Pimghon featured in the video below. Watch the video and see if you agree regarding the comment on quality of life. The writer is correct regarding our policy but we do euthanize if there is no quality of life and the animal is suffering with no chance of recovery. Please take a moment to watch this great video of Rama & Pimghon two of the older dogs at Soi Dog. Pimghon's jaw was tied in wire when he arrived at Soi Dog and Rama was rescued from the floods in Bangkok just barely alive.
Their stories underscore the importance of Soi Dog's sponsorship program in helping all the neglected and abused dogs and cats. Sponsoring one of the dogs at the shelter is one of the most effective ways you can help all the dogs for which Soi Dog cares.

A Return To Dog Island.... The Bangkok floods have now disappeared and we hope for no reoccurrence this year. With your help thousands of animals were saved!

VACCINATION DAY FOR "THE LUCKY 8!"
The "Lucky 8" Puppies got their final vaccination today, along with a tasty dose of worming paste!.. Tomorrow they'll be heading to the Puppy Run. There are many volunteers & staff very attached to these little sweethearts, wish them well & help us find them ALL forever homes!

TALAY RETURNS FOR VISIT. Always lovely to see dogs that have been adopted again. Talay came to us over 2 years ago with her 2 pups. Virtually hairless she was living in the ruins of her former home along with a cross poodle. The house had been demolished and the dogs owners had simply abandoned them there on a busy main road. "well this morning she ate a small amount of chicken & was still very quiet & I had to hand feed her. This afternoon she is a touch brighter & has eaten more chicken on her own. She is just so up & down by the hour. She'll go to SDF with me tomorrow for another interferon injection. So she's still hanging in there.... THIS MORNING. Received this e mail from a Swiss tourist. Gill and Sanae gone straight round and picked puppies up PLUS Mum who is lovely dog. Once she has finished feeding the pups who are actually 3 weeks old and would certainly have died she will be sterilized and then returned. Actually has no owner. Was the bar owner where the mother lived who removed the puppies.

THE LUCKY 8... CAN WE FIND THEM GOOD HOMES? .... Here are the 3 day old puppies dumped at at temple & hand reared by staff & volunteers. John, Leonard, Derek, Marcelo, James & Kharn are now 10 weeks old & star in this video - They're all adorable, cuddly & incredibly cute. Next week they will move to our Puppy Run & we'd really love to find homes for all 8 of them. They all adore people as you can see! Hi John and Cindy, we are finally home, and as it's after 2am we are heading to bed, but I wanted to let you both know that Cassie/Malee is here, she is absolutely GORGEOUS, and we are just thrilled with her. She has had a couple of chances to stretch her legs, done what she needed to, had water and some food, and is settled in for the night. Message from Tao Hoo's new owner in Denmark. I didn't recognize her after Reggie gave her a proper poodle hair cut.
Hello Everyone, Tao hoo arrived in Denmark yesterday, safe, sound and very happy after her long fight from Phuket:-) Oh boy!! i'm in love, she's a really gorgeous little girl, the cutest little button!
