"LING YAI" JOINS THE FAMILY!.... Sweet little Ling Yai found a home last week with local expat couple Chris & Paula who also recently adopted "Polker"! Chris tells us that Ling Yai & Polker are getting on famously together & the family of four is now complete! We wish them all a wonderful life together & a huge thanks to Chris & Paula for giving not just one but 2 shelter dogs forever homes.

UPDATE ON DMT ADOPTIONS
Soi Dog is suspending for the time being the removal of dogs from the Khemmerat shelter for adoption to the UK OR EUROPE. These dogs need to spend 3 months in Thailand prior to departure (blood test requirements, etc.) & we no longer have any space left to house these dogs for the 3 months pending their travel. Our Bangkok facility is full & our Phuket shelter is at capacity.

ME & MY SISTER.... THEY'RE INSEPERABLE & NEED A FOREVER HOME TOGETHER! These 2 shy dogs were found at a local temple in 2009 by a volunteer called "Rock" & the 2 girls were named after him - Rockess & Rocksette. They were severely malnourished when found & constantly picked on by the other temple dogs. The girls were miserable, could not compete for food & had virtually given up on living. GO GO GOOD NEWS UPDATE !
Soi Dog has been receiving tons of emails and questions about Go-Go the Shitzu rescued just a few days ago and rushed to the shelter for emergency treatment with various wounds and a terribly infected maggot infested eye wound.
Go Go is doing well and starting to yap at the other dogs (a very good sign!). Possible surgery tomorrow or early next week.

Good News On Go Go The Shitzu..............

Emmy was dumped at a local Phuket vet clinic in February 2010 when she was just 10 months old. Emmy has lived in our (B1) run ever since & spent most of her time hiding under one of the bamboo sala's. She was scared of people & barked at everyone who tried to befriend her. Over the past 6 months Emmy's become much more confident. No longer is she hiding under the sala & barking, she's coming out to greet people! Congratulations To Soi Dog Bangkok and all the supporting volunteers on completing the 11th mobile sterilization clinic this time at Suwanabhumi Airport
They have managed to spay 23 animals in total, less than our target (30) due to the difficulty of the landscape.

We have had Tess since she was a puppy – we rescued her from the street with her mother approximately 5 years ago. She has always been an affectionate dog and loves going for walks.
