Message from Khun Toom regarding current situation at khemmarat shelter following recent postings elsewhere.
Just finish conversation with chief of Khemmarat shelter, Mr. Surasak replies the situation there, it was raining the whole week. His team can't get through in every area.

SOOKIE - OUR LITTLE SWEETHEART... Sookie has lived at the Soi Dog shelter for 14 months. She was found frightened & alone on the streets with painful weeping skin. After treatment, Sookie lived in our Puppy run for over a year & has recently moved to our new "Small Dog Run". She's now 2 1/2 years old , healthy & would make a wonderful pet.

THE STUNNING "RED"...HE NEEDS A SPECIAL HOME This stunning dog was dumped in the middle of a busy road by his previous owners. They obviously did not want him any more, so left him in the street to fend for himself. It never ceases to amaze us how people can do this to a helpless animal.

PEARL & PERIDOT ARRIVE IN CHICAGO, USA!... Two more dogs recently rescued from the Illegal Dog Meat Trade have arrived safely in Chicago. Their flight was funded the the International Street Dog Foundation. These two will be fostered by Soi Dog supporter (Dawn Trimmel) who will find them the perfect home together! Update On Soi Dog's PUP program...
With the support of Dogs Trust International Soi Dog launched the PUP expanded sterilization program earlier this year.
The program will double the number of sterilizations performed on Phuket to approx. 10,000/year. 1200! dogs and cats were sterilized during August!

Hi it’s me Anatacia again, just thought I’d let you all know how I am doing. I am still in the clinic at Soi Dog, & I have my very own little room, I think they call it a kennel. I feel safe in it, as the humans can’t get to me very easily.
Though I get taken out of it every day to have my wounds cleaned. This does not hurt me, but I really don’t like to be touched by these humans, I am so scared that one of them will hurt me again. I do growl at them to warn th...

DR. SU ARRIVING THIS WEEK TO USA!!!
Our dear Dr. Su became popular among Facebook friends sometime ago when she took personal care of the now famous Shiver, the little puppy who was found last year in a drain sewer in Phuket.
