NONG THAM - A PUPPY IN DISTRESS & NOW RECEIVING TREATMENT
This cute 8 week old puppy was brought to the shelter a few days ago with a deep wound to his left eye which was badly swollen & had become maggot infested. The Thai owners could not afford to take Nong Tham to a veterinary clinic, so we rely on your donations to treat the puppies like these free of charge. Without your support Nong Tham would have become seriously ill & his life put in danger.

6 LUCKY DOGS OFF TO THE UK!
At 5.00am this morning UK Flight Volunteers (Izzy & Zat) checked in at Phuket International Airport for their 12 hour flight. They are accompanying 6 dogs rescued from the Illegal Dog Meat Trade to their new homes in the UK. Izzy & Zat have spent the last few days at the shelter getting to know their canine companions & they're now off on the trip of a lifetime! The dogs will land in HOlland & then be transported by ferry to the UK. This is a huge logistical exercise...

Tim Tam is one of the over 400 dogs at Soi Dog’s shelter. Tim Tam is one of many examples of the importance of Soi Dog’s Sponsors Club. PECK is still weak, but gained 300 gr. the last 2 days.
He has anaemia and short bowel syndrome.. But Total protein and albumin improved. Lever and kidney still OK. We gave him the chance and time he needs, the rest is up to his body.

MUNJAI UPDATE!

MUNJAI UPDATE!
This sweet dog arrived at the shelter last week with a very deep wound above her tail. It was decided to amputate Munjai's tail & the wound has been closed. Munjai is coping extremely well & is now smiling, eating & drinking just a day after her operation. Munjai will stay in our clinic a little longer & then move to our treatment runs where her condition can be monitored.

PUPPY ADOPTED BY SOID DOG STAFF MEMBER!... This cute 9 week old puppy was found wandering alone in the busy streets a few weeks ago with blood coming from its nose. The puppy has been recuperating in our clinic & stole the heart of staff member (Khun Joy) who has adopted the puppy (called Shoredair) & offered it a lovely new home. We wish them both a very happy life together!

ELEVEN 1 DAY OLD PUPS NEED YOUR HELP

Late yesterday afternoon we were alerted to a mother with eleven new born puppies, just hours old. The mother was in labour for 2 days & was then taken to a veterninary clinic where the puppies were delivered by cesarean. The mother will now not feed the pups & is not producing milk.
