Please Join The Magic 1000 Club Today...
The Magic 1000 club has been established to help feed the dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade and currently held in shelters across NE Thailand. It costs in the region of 1,000,000 THB to feed the dogs at all the shelters on a monthly basis so the idea is that we get 1,000 members to donate 1,000 THB (approx. $32) to raise the funds needed to feed all the dogs…

Congratulations to the Soi Dog Bangkok team on their 29th mobile sterilization project this time at Muang Korat, Korat Province. The clinic took place between 14-16 Dec. In total 139 animals were sterilized - 103 dogs and 36 cats.
Sterilization is the only effective and humane way of strategically addressing the plight of street dogs and cats. By sterilizing one animal the results are exponential and avoid more kittens and puppies being born unnecessarily into a life of suffering.

DOG SNATCHER SNATCHED IN THA RAE! 16th Dec 2012, by Soi Dog Foundation
An undercover agent working for SDF spotted a dog snatcher and followed him to Tha Rae where he tipped off police who stopped the truck and arrested the driver. They found 35 dogs including a mother and puppies. Dogs were in 2 layers. The driver said he had been given the dogs and was taking them to his home to fatten them up for local slaughter. Police later visited the man’s house. This is a real breakthrough and the first occasion we know of that police in Tha Rae which is the center of th...

A Christmas Wish From Khun Paporn Of Paporn Khlongdogs... Dear John and Leo, Ta-Phet Marla is a blind and lonely dog, living in the busy street of Bangkok. She was left in the dark with broken leg, until I found her at the school yard, where the school guard did not allow her to stay. Since almost 3 months she stayed in a clinic and received medical care. I brought Ta-Phet Marla to see the specialist at Chula University last week. I have her blood and overall health checked. NATTY'S XMAS WISH...
Natty was found almost 2 years ago with an horrific neck wound. Someone had tied him up for a very long time & he was in terrible pain. Natty recovered at the Soi Dog shelter & has made many friends here. He can often be seen walking with our volunteers & his sweet nature has won many hearts.
As pit bulls are not easy to send abroad, we'd really love to find Natty a home locally in THAILAND. Natty loves to walk on a lead & is a loving friendly dog with most people he meets...
