SPITE ADOPTED TODAY!... The lovely kitten who's been recovering in our cat hospital (following car accident) was adopted locally in Phuket today!...She grew into a lovely cat, very pretty & affectionate & is going to a great home. Good luck Spite!

JJP..... He's SEXY and he knows it.......) Check out JJP - just got a grooming and a new bandana. His fur has grown back completely after surgery to remove the burn tissue and he loves it.... no more itching and scratching. JJP was found as a young puppy outside the JJP Convenience Store in Phuket Thailand with severe burn wounds due to someone pouring hot oil on him. He found his forever home last year in Chicago, USA.

Trade Of Shame Awareness

Every year tens of thousands of dogs are inhumanely transported from Thailand to neighbouring countries where they are butchered by cruel and barbaric methods. However, the Soi Dog Foundation and the Thai government are actively working to end this appalling practice.
The conditions under which the dogs are transported and slaughtered are inhumane and many die from suffocation long before they reach neighbouring countries. In reality these are the lucky ones.

What a great little fellow! Spooky arrived just a week or so ago at Soi Dog’s shelter late one evening after an urgent telephone call.
Khun Sanae one of Soi Dog’s animal rescue officers rushed to collect Spooky. Fortunately Sanae is one of the most amazing people in gaining an animal’s trust. Many of the dogs Soi Dog rescues have been victims of abuse but somehow Sanae is able to establish a relationship of trust with them very quickly.

PUNKS & PUPPY DOGS!.... Six lucky dogs will depart Phuket on February 28th bound for the UK, via Holland. They will be escorted by our famous UK Flight Volunteers - Zat & Izzy who are doing this trip for the 3rd time! This will make 18 dogs that they've accompanied to their new homes in the UK. Zat & Izzy arrived this week at the shelter & are getting to know their flight buddies!
