A few months ago, two of our oldest residents (Library & Por Gair) flew to their new home in Switzerland. Both had been at the shelter for many years & had very little chance of being adopted. Then Thaiea contacted us wanting to adopt 2 older dogs who really needed a good home. Shiver's Story…
Shiver was found at the side of a road at the brink of death. He had horrific skin infections, malnutrition & pneumonia. We did not think Shiver would survive. After several months of intensive care & treatment Shiver's condition gradually improved.

Soi Dog Foundation needs veterinary volunteers immediately. You will receive free accommodation, and if you stay for a month or more Soi Dog will help cover your other costs.
Volunteers must be qualified vets and should have at least two years experience performing surgery on small animals. Please contact Belinda at volunteer@soidog-foundation.org and provide the dates you would like to volunteer.

I used to live with a family, but one day they drove me far away from home & threw me out onto the street. They never came back to get me, even though I waited for a very long time. I was so scared & I didn't know what I'd done wrong. I soon got very hungry & didn't know how to find food, my skin got very itchy & my hair started to fall out.
