Shiver's Story...

Shiver's Story…
Shiver was found at the side of a road at the brink of death. He had horrific skin infections, malnutrition & pneumonia. We did not think Shiver would survive. After several months of intensive care & treatment Shiver's condition gradually improved.

MEG'S ADOPTION HAS FALLEN THROUGH TO THE UK.

Meg was due to fly to the UK in March, but her adoption has sadly fallen through. Meg is an old girl (approx 9 years old & has been at the shelter for 2 years after being found in a terrible state at a Phuket temple. She's very sweet & loving, albeit a bit jealous when other dogs steal her cuddles, but who can blame her.

This video was sent to us by Forrest, who recently adopted a little dog called Coffee from Soi Dog in Bangkok. The two are now inseparable! .
Coffee is blind in one eye & the sweetest little companion imaginable. Forrest is so taken with Coffee that he made this video to celebrate their life together. SPOT THE SOI DOG!.. THERE'S 4 OF THEM!... There are 4 lucky Soi Dogs in this photo all adopted by Becca & her husband Randy who live in Toronto, Canada. Can you see them? 5 Tons Of Much Needed Food Arrives At Burriram Shelter...

Many thanks to members of the Magic 1000 Club (http://www.soidog.org/en/magic-1000/) from the dogs at the Burriram shelter one of the shelters were dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade are kept 5 tons of food (4532kg.) was delivered yesterday.
It costs in the range of 1,000,000 Thai bhat to feed these dogs each month and more members of the Magic 1000 club are urgently needed so that these dogs can continue to be fed.

My name is Toto...
I used to live with a family, but one day they drove me far away from home & threw me out onto the street. They never came back to get me, even though I waited for a very long time. I was so scared & I didn't know what I'd done wrong. I soon got very hungry & didn't know how to find food, my skin got very itchy & my hair started to fall out.
I felt so sad & helpless that I wanted to die. But then a nice lady noticed how sick & sad I was & she called Soi Dog to come & get me...

A few months ago, two of our oldest residents (Library & Por Gair) flew to their new home in Switzerland. Both had been at the shelter for many years & had very little chance of being adopted. Then Thaiea contacted us wanting to adopt 2 older dogs who really needed a good home. PISTOL'S OFF TO GERMANY!... Pistol will soon be headed to his new family in Germany. He arrived at the shelter last year with a gunshot wound to his leg.
