MANIC - OUR LITTLE CUTIE!...

Manic arrived at the shelter with a very bad leg wound & amputation was needed. It's just 4 weeks since her operation & now she's up & walking on her remaining 3 legs She's a tiny girl & as cute as a button! She's too small to be in a shelter, she needs a soft bed & a place to call home.

Hi, I'm Desperado and I live at The Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket. I have been here for 4 1/2 years and I am really hoping it's my time to find a loving home. When I arrived I had a bad wound on my back, which thanks to the great Vets here has now healed. It did leave a scar which I think gives me character. Murphy’s Story…
Poor Murphy at only 2 years old came to the shelter as unable to fend for himself on the streets. Murphy was suffering from a severely compromised immune system and virtually hairless from mange. Murphy when found was a walking skeleton, virtually hairless and covered in open wounds.

Natts was found at Baan Yaa & rescued by Soi Dog in February of 2012. Poor Natts had a maggot infested neck wound, probably caused by being tied up for a very long time.

German Soi dog Supporters - Jens & Carolin, spent several weeks at the Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket recently, getting to know 2 lovely young pups called Pitti & Dotti, whom they'd adopted & would soon be taking home to Germany.
Jens & Carolin had no dogs at home, so Pitti & Dotti were to be an instant family for the young couple. The happy foursome flew to Frankfurt a few days ago & we just heard from Jens saying they'd all arrived safely, getting over their jet lag & adjusting to the huge change...

JUMPER, WHY IS SHE ALWAYS LEFT BEHIND?...
Jumper's records say - Age 6 years, Time on Shelter 5 years & 9 months. Yes, Jumper's been here at the Soi Dog shelter her entire life. She's watched many of her friends leave & get adopted to countries far away, but that's never happened to poor Jumper. She's still living in the A3 Run, the only home she's ever known.

Super cute "Boogbig" looks like he belongs in Hollywood! He's got movie star good looks and a personality to match! Boogbig was found dumped in a Phuket street 3 months ago & the local street dogs were biting & attacking him. He's most likely been a pet & suddenly abandoned & left to fend for himself. Boogbig adores people as you can see.

SEA LION IS THE WINNER!!!!!
THANK YOU to everyone who voted for "Sea Lion a Soi Dog" for the Humane Society Pageant in the US.
Sea Lion WON 2 categories - the Best Personality and Most Photogenic.
The most important thing that happened is Sea Lion won $2000 from the Humane Society to go towards Spay and Neuter programs.

LITTLE BEE, OUR ONE EYED WONDER! ...

Little Bee was found behind a local hotel with her right eye protruding from the socket. We think the wound was human inflicted & she was in terrible pain & discomfort.
