This young guy has been with us for most of his life. He is loving, affectionate and playful and very much needs to leave shelter life behind so he can grow into the stunning dog we all know he can be.

THE STUNNING JUSTINE!... This beautiful young girl is super affectionate & loves life! She was found behind a School after having given birth to 5 puppies & has lived at Soi Dog for over a year now. Justine ADORES people & gets on well with other dogs. she's a stunning looking dog who has won the hearts of many volunteers & would make a wonderful addition to a family.
Justine is adoptable to Europe, USA UK or Canada.

PENSRI'S STORY.....
This lovable dog learnt how to survive on the streets of Phuket by hanging out near the local fresh market. After getting hit by a car, she came to the shelter where she was treated and nursed back to health by the vets and volunteers. You would hardly notice the small limp she has been left with as she is energetic and full of life.
She is seeking a loving home with someone who can show her life outside of the shelter and where she no longer has to fend for herself.

This little doggy slipped and nearly drowned during the heavy rain. She was rescued and treated but still very sick and unconscious. The young vet (from Chulalongkorn University) came in to pick up some items close to the dog and saw her. He rushed in and tried his best to help this poor dog no matter how dirty she was. GG, Alone & Blind Abandoned On Streets ...
GG was picked up a few days ago by Khun Nok one of Soi Dog’s Animal Rescue Officers while returning to the shelter from a mobile sterilization clinic on the south of Phuket island. Residents in the area where GG had been found told Nok that GG’s owner’s had set GG on the streets due to “his blindness”. They no longer wanted him and GG now had no home. How can anyone be so callous as to dump such a sweet boy on the street, unable to see?

With sterilizations doubling due to the PUP Program (Prevent Unwanted Puppies) so have the number of dogs requiring emergency treatment who must be brought to the clinic.

Part of a 20 tonne food order arriving at the Nakhon Phanom shelter yesterday and many thanks to members of the Magic 1000 who make it possible to save these dogs! This food alone cost well over 700,000 Thai Bhat ($24,000).

Again many thanks to Nok Air for flying free of charge dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade to Soi Dog’s Bangkok clinic. Nok’s motto is “A Smile On Every Flight” – well this time it was “6 Smiles On Every Flight” as the dogs deplaned in Bangkok!

OUR DARLING ROZ...
Roz has very limited sight & we think she probably only see's shadows. She's approx 7 years old & has lived at our shelter for 6 years - almost her entire life. Roz is an absolute sweetheart & is a very affectionate girl who steals the hearts of many volunteers. Roz would make a wonderful companion for a special person willing to deal with her very limited vision.

Meet "PUMPKIN" a sweet, shy little girl who spends a lot of her time under the Sala keeping out of the way of the bigger dogs. She is getting more and more used to her walks with the volunteers and although wary she loves getting attention and cuddles. Update On Rescued Dogs Held At The Nakhon Phanom Shelter…
After recent arrests of dog smugglers more than 3000 dogs rescued from the dog meat trade are being held at the Nakhon Phanom Shelter resulting in severe overcrowding.
Due to the overcrowding dogs are being relocated to another department of livestock facility approx. 30kms. away in the Tha Uthan district.
100+ dogs have been moved after being vaccinated and sterilized. The facility can shelter 200-300 dogs and has been renovated...

Nok Air - A Smile On Every Flight!
Many thanks to the executive management and employees of Nok Air for providing transport of dogs rescued from the dog meat trade. SDF and SDMT (Stop Dog Meat Trade In Thailand) have shipped 30 of the most vulnerable dogs via Nok Air to Soi Dog Bangkok from the Nakhon Phanom and Burriram shelters. Around half of them have already been adopted locally. The latest 7 shown here flew to Bangkok this morning courtesy of Nok Air.
