Yong is more than 12 years of age and one of the oldest dogs at the shelter. She was found at Nai Harn beach in 2010 wandering around dis-orientated, suffering fungal infection & severely malnourished. We also soon discovered she is almost totally blind.

PRETTY LITTLE POLAN....
This little girl was found dumped in a rubber plantation & was eating the rubber off the trees trying to survive. She's been at our shelter for almost 9 months & ready to find a new home. Polan is 4 years old, small & dainty. She loves to be cuddled like a baby & enjoys lots of attention!

298,000 Thai Baht (around $10,000) of additional food arrives at the Khemmerat shelter where dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade are sheltered.

THE DOOBSTER IS UP FOR ADOPTON!
Dooby is a real character, he came to Soi Dog 2 years ago after having lived on the streets his whole life. He was covered in sores & fungal skin problems. His face said it all - he was one of the saddest dogs we'd ever seen.
Today Dooby is a totally different dog! He's exuberant, happy & LOVES people. Dooby always makes us laugh with his funny antics. He seems especially fond of men & would make a great buddy.
Dooby is adoptable to US, Canada, Europe or the UK....

THE STUNNING JUSTINE!... This beautiful young girl is super affectionate & loves life! She was found behind a School after having given birth to 5 puppies & has lived at Soi Dog for over a year now. Justine ADORES people & gets on well with other dogs. she's a stunning looking dog who has won the hearts of many volunteers & would make a wonderful addition to a family.

Fran lost his eye in a road accident & now lives at the Soi Dog Shelter here in Phuket. Fran is a chilled out little guy with a very sweet, calm disposition. Thanks go out to members of the Magic 1000 Club, because of your support approx. 3 tons of food has been delivered to the Thong Pha Phum shelter in remote Khanchanburi Province where dogs rescued from the dog meat trade as well as a few survivors from the Bangkok floods are sheltered.
Many of the rescued dogs at Thong Pha Phum were transferred there in 2012 from the Burriram shelter.

BUM BUI & HER BELOVED DUCK POO!...
Meet Bum Bui, she's a long term resident having been here at the Soi Dog Shelter for 6 of her 8 years. Bum Bui is a real character, she adores going for walks & loves rolling around on the grass having belly rubs. This week we walked her past our ducks & she just couldn't resist rolling in the fresh duck poo. Nice one Bum Bui!!!
If you just want to make an old dog happy, "Bum Bui" could be just the ticket...
