We had a lovely home lined up for long term resident Tara , but sadly her UK adopter has fallen ill & can no longer give Tara her forever home.

Emergency Work Continues For Rescued Dogs…
The second emergency veterinarian relief team arrived at the Nakhon Phanom shelter yesterday.
After meeting with Dr. Thanet and Dr. Bo of the Nakhon Phanom shelter (pictured) it was agreed that the best course of action is to quarantine as best as possible under the circumstances dogs carrying distemper and parvo virus from healthy dogs.
In the interest of saving as many dogs as possible the Nakhon Phanom vets will concentrate on treating sick dogs...

Emergency Vet Teams Arrive At Nakhon Phanom…
Late last week Soi Dog was granted permission to bring in emergency vet teams from overseas to help rescued dogs at Nakhon Phanom shelter. World Vets, Worldwide Veterinary Services and the Humane Society International have all agreed to send emergency veterinarian teams.
The situation is still grim and your help is needed now so that as many dogs as possible can be saved.

BUM BUI & HER BELOVED DUCK POO!...
Meet Bum Bui, she's a long term resident having been here at the Soi Dog Shelter for 6 of her 8 years. Bum Bui is a real character, she adores going for walks & loves rolling around on the grass having belly rubs. This week we walked her past our ducks & she just couldn't resist rolling in the fresh duck poo. Nice one Bum Bui!!!
If you just want to make an old dog happy, "Bum Bui" could be just the ticket...

The Soi Dog Fun Dog Show is just 5 weeks away. Why not come along and join the fun?
It will take place on 14th July, 2013 at Ringlands Stables, Buckhurst Road, Westerham, Kent TN16 2HX from 11am - 4pm.
It promises to be a wonderful day out for the family, you will get to meet many of the Soi and DMT Dogs adopted to the UK. Theres a Fun Dog Show, Raffle, Tombola and many stalls for you to enjoy too.

Program and Goofy were brought to Soi Dog’s shelter in late April after being hit by cars. Both are paralyzed and it is unlikely they will ever be able to walk again though can both live happy lives in the right environment.

THE STUNNING JUSTINE!... This beautiful young girl is super affectionate & loves life! She was found behind a School after having given birth to 5 puppies & has lived at Soi Dog for over a year now. Justine ADORES people & gets on well with other dogs. she's a stunning looking dog who has won the hearts of many volunteers & would make a wonderful addition to a family.

A BOY CALLED FRAN...He hasn't found a home yet...
Fran lost his eye in a road accident & now lives at the Soi Dog Shelter here in Phuket. Fran is a chilled out little guy with a very sweet, calm disposition. He loves attention from people & really enjoys his time with volunteers. He loves affection & would make a great companion.
