Program & Goofy Need Your Help Today!
Program and Goofy were brought to Soi Dog’s shelter in late April after being hit by cars. Both are paralysed and it is unlikely they will ever be able to walk again though can both live happy lives in the right environment.
With hundreds of injured dogs being treated each month Soi Dog does not have the staff or facilities to provide the required care for paraplegic dogs. Soi Dog contacted Home For Life Sanctuary in the United States which provides life...

Burriram (New) Shelters Update...

Work continues on the 2nd and 3rd purpose built shelters at Burriram (Thailand) for housing dogs rescued from the dog meat trade. Each shelter costing $35,000 to $40,000 is purpose built for dogs and each will house 500 dogs. 10 shelters are planned pending funding.
Burriram is approx. 4 hours from Bangkok and is an ideal location in that there is plenty of land and it is removed from houses etc.

MEET SWEET PEA....
Pea is 19 months old & has spent her entire life here at the Soi Dog shelter after being rescued from a busy road with her sister "Pod" when just a few weeks old. Pod was adopted to USA about 6 months ago & we hope it won't be long before Pea finds a family of her own. http://youtu.be/VeJfYsxFa2E

THE STUNNING JUSTINE!... This beautiful young girl is super affectionate & loves life! She was found behind a School after having given birth to 5 puppies & has lived at Soi Dog for over a year now. Justine ADORES people & gets on well with other dogs. she's a stunning looking dog who has won the hearts of many volunteers & would make a wonderful addition to a family.
Justine is adoptable to Europe, USA UK or Canada.

Churchill The Bulldog…
Many people have emailed us asking about Churchill the abandoned bulldog recently brought to Soi Dog’s shelter. Churchill arrived at Soi Dog earlier this week with a horrific maggot infested eye wound from a dog bite.
Head vet Dr. Su continues to treat Churchill and his condition has improved considerably in the short time he has been here. His eye is still in the socket which is great however at this stage we aren’t certain whether we will be able to save his eye...

These photos show your donations at work! 930,256 Thai Baht (approx. $30,000) worth of additional food has been ordered today for the 4 shelters where dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade are held.
While this is great news there are still not enough members in the Magic 1000 to meet the monthly food bill alone. Feeding the dogs at the shelters is well outside of Soi Dog's normal o...

CHURCHILL UPDATE.
Thank you to everybody for your overwhelming concern regarding Churchill who was admitted to the SDF shelter late yesterday afternoon. Churchill is around 3 to 4 years old (estimated), and extremely friendly. The severe wound (see previous post) which is maggot infested to his right face was caused by a dog bite witnessed by the lady who reported him to us.
