PATCH THE PUPPY - ALMOST READY FOR ADOPTION!
Remember Patch the cute little puppy with a severe bite wound on her behind? Well her wound is now healed, she's almost fully vaccinated & now we're looking for a new home for this sweet girl.
Patch is currently at the Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket. She can be adopted to USA, Canada, Europe, UK or locally.

Burriram Shelter Update 01-July-2013...

The first new shelter to house dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade at the Buriram Department of Livestock facilities is nearing completion. Upon competition the plan is to transfer around 500 dogs from the overcrowded shelter at Nakhon Phanom.
Work is also continuing on a second shelter at Burriram, also funded by Soi Dog supporters. Rescued dogs currently held at Khemmarat (another Department of Livestock facility east of Buriram) will be transferred to Buriram with no plans at presen...

Cristy gets a visit from her rescuer Khun Thep and Gill…
People the world over have been following the story of Cristy the recently rescued, 7 month old pup. Cristy was found alone and starving, virtually hairless from severe mange and would most likely have soon died alone on the street had she not been rescued.

The adorable Jumper flew to her new family in Vancouver 6 weeks ago. She's charmed everyone & is even going camping with the family very soon! Here's an update from Jumper's mum Pat.

Our beautiful Angel was left to die in a Phuket house with her friend Momo. The 2 dogs were discovered & brought to Soi Dog where sadly sadly Momo passed away shortly after arrival.

C risty was spotted by Soi Dog volunteer Cristy Baker hiding in a doorway, severely malnourished and in a fearful state. Severely malnourished and virtually hairless she was unable to fend for herself or search for food.

Funny (as her friends call her) has been at the Soi Dog shelter for 4 of her 6 years. Funny is a sweet, loving girl. Great News… Sea Lion Arrives To Australia!
Ellie Harris, Sea Lion's adopter writes…
“Sea Lion arrived safe and well yesterday; today I was able to visit him at quarantine as you can’t see him the day he arrives. He is doing so well such a strong natured happy dog. He sniffed me then started crying and going crazy for a few minutes.

An update on Cristy, a young pup found alone and starving.
Many Soi Dog supporters have been asking about Cristy the pup recently rescued who was suffering from terrible mange and severely malnourished.
Cristy has been receiving treatment from our vets and while her condition is stable she still has a long way to go. She certainly seems considerably happier and more trusting then when she was first found.
We think Cristy will come along fine but it is yet early days. She is a wonderful ...

We found 3 beautiful young cats dumped at the Soi Dog gate 8 weeks ago. They are all approx 6 months old with beautiful friendly personalities. They all play together happily in our cat suite, but desperately need to find loving families. Gepetto (pictured) is a 6 month old, sterlized male.
