First Burriram Shelter Completed!....

Congratulations and thanks to Soi Dog supporters! The first shelter which YOU have made possible at Burriram for dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade is now completed. 500 dogs will be moved there as a matter of urgency early next week from the Nakhon Phanom shelter to the North.
An additional 8 shelters will still be needed at Burriram and work has begun on the third.
Our friends at GreaterGood are now matching donations for the new shelters dollar for dollar making new donations go ...

THE SUPER 6 ON THEIR WAY TO THE UK!...

At 5am this morning 6 soi dogs headed to the UK with flight volunteers Zat & Izzy, arrived at Phuket airport. Their first flight was to Bangkok with Thai Airways & they are now en-route to Amsterdam with KLM, due to arrive at 6.30pm tonight Holland time.
All 6 dogs & their flight volunteers will overnight in Amsterdam & then take a ferry to London, arriving 12th July. The dogs all took it in their stride. The lucky dogs are Angel, Marley, Starlette, Lachlan, Mandarin & Tara - all bound for...

Breaking News!
Smugglers attempting to cross the Mekong River with 90 cats were intercepted on the border. The cats were destined for either Vietnam or China.
These are the first cats ever to be intercepted in Thailand destined for the meat trade.
The cats have been taken to the Nakhon Phanom shelter and Soi Dog has already sent funds to care for them. Nakhon Phanom has no suitable facilities for cats. Soi Dog has supplied a large number of cages for dogs in treatment and some of these ...

Dooby arrived at the shelter in a terrible state, poor love. He had a dreadful fungal infection all over his hairless body & weeping sores. Many Soi Dog supporters have asked about Churchill the abandoned and neglected bulldog who came to the shelter a few weeks ago.
Churchill had suffered from a horrific attack (dog bite) and we were very concerned he might lose his eye. Collie is a very special boy who has lived at our shelter most of his life, after his owners dumped him in the road 2 years ago. Collie suffers from epilepsy which is controlled by medication.
