An update on Ronnapee…
Remember Ronapee? An elderly lady found Ronnapee in the south of Phuket. Poor Ronnapee was suffering from severe mange and malnutrition. When the lady first saw Ronnapee lying in a gutter she assumed he was dead but then spotted signs of life.
Well look at him now. Responding well to treatment and much happier than when found by the side of the road!

Burriram Shelter Update...
Many thanks to Soi Dog supporters who have donated towards the construction of purpose built shelters for dogs rescued from the dog meat trade. Sufficient funds have been raised for completion of about half of the required shelters (10 in total).
Pictured here is the work in progress on the next shelter
Each shelter will be capable of housing 500 dogs.

PULLYU - THE GIRL IN THE PIPE...

This striking girl was dumped at a local temple with her siblings at just 4 weeks of age. She was found wet & shivering in a gully & would have surely died. SEE VIDEO OF PULLYU HERE http://youtu.be/Xha1Dl14uh4
Pullyu is frightened of some of the dogs in her run, so she hides in the pipes. Once she trust you she comes out for a cuddle then races back in. Once she's out of the run on a walk she loves the company of people. She's still quite shy & would need someone with time & patience to settle ...

WILL PATCH MAKE HER FLIGHT TO VANCOUVER?
Dear little Patch, the puppy who arrived 2 months ago with a terrible wound on her bottom has now healed!. She was being adopted to Vancouver, but her adoption has fallen through at the last minute. Patch can still go on this flight (with a flight volunteer) in 2 weeks time, if can find another home in or around Vancouver/Seattle area within the next few days. Cost for this flight is approx $400 + cage.

MISHKA'S ON HER WAY TO SWITZERLAND!... It's always hard for us to see dogs leave the shelter, even though we know they're going to wonderful new homes. Many have been here for years & our staff & volunteers become very attached to them. Hogi

Hogi is one of the many dogs who has reoccurring skin infections, requiring constant medication. Hogi is a sweet dog living in Soi Dog's OAP area. Khun Nok found him on the streets about 3 1/2 years ago totally bald.
