Magic 1000 Club Food Delivery To Nakhon Phanom...
Many thanks to the Magic 1000 Club for delivering approximately $11,000 of food to the Nakhon Phanom shelter for dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade!
It costs around $46,000 each month to feed the over 4000 rescued dogs and to provide them sufficient shelters. More members of the Magic 1000 club are urgently needed to help give these dogs the care they deserve.

"Richy" Has 3 Broken Bones After An Accident...

LITTLE RICHY ON VIDEO!..Little Richy was found dragging himself along the side of a busy highway in Phuket. He'd been hit by a car & both his back legs were broken. He's now at the Soi Dog Shelter & has had both legs pinned. He's gradually he's starting to use them again & we are hopeful of a good recovery for this cute little guy. SIX LUCKY DOGS ARRIVE IN THE UK!

A few hours ago 6 dogs arrived at Harwich in the UK after their long journey with flight volunteers Hana & Peter. Waiting for them were some very excited adopters! The lucky dogs are Ebony, Wenta, Dump, Aurora - all shelter dogs. Wenta & Dump are long term residents having been at the shelter for 6 years. Also on this trip were Bailey & Puddles, recently rescued from the illegal dog meat trade.

FANCY DESERVES TO KNOW SOME CREATURE COMFORTS...

Fancy has been at our shelter for almost 6 years now.
She is such a quiet, affectionate, loving and sometimes shy little girl who is 6 and half years old, but that elusive loving home keeps passing her by. There have been a few occasions that we thought we had found the home for her, but then sadly the enquiries went no further.

TIM TAM ON HER NEW SALA!.. Here's our lovely Tim Tam who flew to Vancouver a few days ago enjoying her new Coffee Table Sala... Tim Tam's new mum (Susan) says she loves to jump up here & entice her new brother Audi to play. As you can see Audi (in the background) is not amused!
All is going really well for Tim Tam (now Tammy) & she's settled into her new home like she's lived there all her life. She also loves her new diet of stewed hamburger with sweet potato and rice. Oh & the odd cookie! ...

A few weeks ago Tricia who lives in New Zealand, flew to Phuket to volunteer at the Soi Dog shelter. As is often the case, volunteers fall in love with a particular dog but are unable to adopt themselves. 6 MORE LUCKY DOGS HEADING HOME....

There was another early start today for the Soi Dog team who delivered 6 more lucky dogs to the airport to start their journey to the UK.
They were accompanied by Hana & Peter who are their flight volunteers for the journey.
They will first fly to Bangkok, before heading to Amsterdam. From there, after an overnight stay they make their way to the UK by ferry.
A long trip indeed, but there will be many excited adopters and supports to greet them and welcome them to their new homes.

MUNNA IN THE CORNER....

Little Munna hasn't been with us long (only about 4 months), but she is breaking hearts already.
She is just the sweetest little 1 year old girl that was living on the streets and had been hit by a car so came to us for treatment. She has now healed and just needs to put on a little more weight.
She is not really settling into shelter life well, and tends to sit in her corner. We would love to find her a home where she can feel safe and loved.
Could you give this sweetheart a nice warm bed...

THE LOVELY LINUS... LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME

Linus was dumped with her 8 puppies on a busy road. Four puppies died when hit by cars, one was adopted by a foreigner & 3 came to Soi Dog. Linus now lives in our shelter & is the most amazing, sweet hearted girl. She just LOVES cuddles & rubbing herself against you. She's super affectionate & has won our "best kisser" award for her constant sloppy kisses.
